There is literally no difference in the politics of Chuck Schumer and Slotkin. Replacing him with her would be absolutely useless except for the 6 months time it would take for everyone to learn to hate her.

To my ears it sounds like she is pre-spinning how Schumer critics will justify him being leader again. But if you have different ears it sounds like she wants to run for leader.
