8 months ago, India's regional satellite navigation constellation 'NavIC' fell below the minimum number of active satellites (4) needed to keep the system operational.
Last Friday, ISRO had launched the NVS-03 satellite on GSLV-F18, aiming to bring the constellation back to service.
4 days later, NVS-03 has now finally reached its target GSO orbit, bringing NavIC back to the minimum required number of satellites!
Congrats to teams at ISRO and everyone in India 🇮🇳

Unique features are:
60 GWh of pumped hydro storage.
30 GWh of battery energy storage.
2 GWh through emerging technologies.
40% minimum domestic content for battery storage projects.
Truly, it is more reliable power, greater renewable energy integration and stronger energy security.

Fire Incident at HPCL Visakhapatnam Refinery
A fire incident was reported at the pitch intermediate storage tank at Visakh Refinery of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), at around 10 PM on November 2, 2026.
Fire & Safety Team of Visakh Refinery promptly activated the firefighting and emergency response measures.
The fire was localized to pitch tank area and was brought under control within a short time. There has been no casualties.
All the Units of the Refinery are working safely.
HPCL remains committed to the highest standards of safety and emergency preparedness.
