One of the sleekest products to go from idea to high-quality content. Distro lives in Slack. It mines your conversations for content ideas. It drafts content based on your style/brand. It posts for you on the platform of your choice.

The hardest part of creating content is starting with a blank page. But I’ve figured out a better way. I’ve been using @youdistro’s Studio Session to create content - an interview with AI that pulls ideas out of me like a podcast host. Now, we have a new update: Before the interview starts, AI gives me a research-backed explanation of the topic so I’m not going in blind. Here’s how I’m using it now: 1. Go to youdistro[.]com 2. Go to Studio Session 3. Pick a trending topic or paste in content 4. Distro researches and explains it back to me so I have context before I start 5. Interview begins. AI asks me questions like a podcast host. 6. Conversation turns into draft posts, newsletters, and more. This update has been a big unlock: Walk in with context, walk out with content.

Starting today, anyone can create a custom writing style, trained on all of their previous content! With this update to @youdistro, we attack a few of our fundamental beliefs head on: 1) AI creating slop is a solvable problem. 2) AI is best used as a creative copilot, not the main character. Here's how I now create content: 1) Go to youdistro[.]com. 2) Sync X posts & upload past content 3) Create a custom social media style, selecting my highest performing X posts to train the voice 4) Go to editor, select my custom style, and click repurpose content 5) Upload a past podcast episode of mine 6) Prompt distro with: "Can you make this an email newsletter article that's 250-350 words. I want it to highlight the main points from the podcast and i want to mostly maintain the language that I used, so don't create any new words I didn't say unless absolutely necessary." 7) Distro almost one-shots the article. I make 5 minutes of edits & I'm good to go. This is a huge step forward in distro becoming your go-to content co-pilot.

Literally paste call transcript into editor and give it this prompt: “turn these insights from an AI expert into a short social post with a list of his opinions & points of view that he shared during the call. make sure the points are out of quotes and make sure the hook & conclusion are concise & non-cringey.” I do this with many of my calls and internal convos
