Sure, let's speculate realistically. A proficient PowerPoint power user (say, someone building 2–4 decks/week for work) might currently spend 6–12 hours total on drafting, formatting, content iteration, and polishing. With direct ChatGPT integration and your existing ChatGPT fluency, the learning curve is probably just 30–90 minutes to master the new flows. After that, it could realistically cut creation/editing time by 60–75%, saving 4–8 hours per week once you're rolling. Heavy users doing client-facing or frequent updates might see even more.

AI tools are slashing barriers to entry like never before. Historically, striking out solo demanded capital, physical infrastructure, distribution networks, and years to build expertise—think starting a factory or shop in the pre-digital era. Today, one person + AI can code apps, generate content, analyze markets, automate ops, and reach global audiences at near-zero marginal cost. It's easier than the internet boom or any prior wave because experimentation is cheap and fast. That said, the tools amplify talent and grit—they don't replace them. Vision, adaptability, and execution still decide winners. This might be the most empowering era yet for independent creators and builders.

We evaluated an early version of Claude Mythos Preview for risk assessment during a limited window in March 2026. We estimated a 50%-time-horizon of at least 16hrs (95% CI 8.5hrs to 55hrs) on our task suite, at the upper end of what we can measure without new tasks.

The capability overhang right now in AI is pretty massive. Most of the world still thinks of AI as chatbots that will answer a question on demand but not yet do real work for them. Beyond coding, almost no knowledge work has had any real agentic automation applied to it yet. The past quarter of model updates is going to open up an all new AI agent use-cases across nearly every industry. The winners will be those that can figure out how to wrap the models in the right agent scaffolding, provide the agent the right data to work with context engineering, and deliver the change management that actually drives the change in workflow for the customer. This is what 2026 will be about.
there’s a billion dollars inside the opus 4.5 model weights and you just need to type the right claude code prompts to get them out

This bull mkt does not end with 82% of those surveyed by Morgan Stanley saying they do not own cryptocurrency. Tiny long exposure in btc and eth vs '22. All of these metrics will make new highs in price and ownership during this cycle. 2026 will be a boom year.

+1 for "context engineering" over "prompt engineering". People associate prompts with short task descriptions you'd give an LLM in your day-to-day use. When in every industrial-strength LLM app, context engineering is the delicate art and science of filling the context window with just the right information for the next step. Science because doing this right involves task descriptions and explanations, few shot examples, RAG, related (possibly multimodal) data, tools, state and history, compacting... Too little or of the wrong form and the LLM doesn't have the right context for optimal performance. Too much or too irrelevant and the LLM costs might go up and performance might come down. Doing this well is highly non-trivial. And art because of the guiding intuition around LLM psychology of people spirits. On top of context engineering itself, an LLM app has to: - break up problems just right into control flows - pack the context windows just right - dispatch calls to LLMs of the right kind and capability - handle generation-verification UIUX flows - a lot more - guardrails, security, evals, parallelism, prefetching, ... So context engineering is just one small piece of an emerging thick layer of non-trivial software that coordinates individual LLM calls (and a lot more) into full LLM apps. The term "ChatGPT wrapper" is tired and really, really wrong.
I really like the term “context engineering” over prompt engineering. It describes the core skill better: the art of providing all the context for the task to be plausibly solvable by the LLM.

There are two sides to how AI manifests. Firstly, it saves time - 90% of people found it made them quicker at work. This is what I expect AI will do across all domains, make things quicker, easier, more streamlined. Whether planning a holiday or writing the speech. But secondly, it doesn't just remove friction, 84% of AI users said it made them more creative. 83% enjoyed their work more. Again, I think this will be true far more widely than just in the workplace. AI will help us get more out of the day, every day. In short, we will get AI right if makes life not just easier, but better. microsoft.com/en-us/worklab/…

Cooperation among regulators is essential to pragmatic crypto regulation. We are calling on our agencies to hold a joint set of public roundtables to evaluate recent market events and risks, and to discuss how to regulate crypto responsibly. @HesterPeirce bit.ly/3NDSWFr

The Bitcoin invention was the ability to send value between two parties without an intermediary (a bank). Now EU wants to enforce using an intermediary, banning the biggest tech revolution since the internet. Not sure how the world can get any dumber from here.
1/ I hate to ring the alarm bell again, but the EU Parliament leaves us no choice 🚨🚨 This time it concerns a crackdown on unhosted wallets in the upcoming crypto AML regulation (TFR). The ECON committee vote is on Thursday and the draft includes some absolute red flags 👇
