Writing this in my personal capacity, but I have been flying these types of aircraft for more than 20 years, with over 8,000 hours, and have reasonable familiarity with how the charter world operates. I feel compelled to post after seeing commentary about the Lear 60 crash, from missile strikes to DEI to critiquing this poor woman’s final radio calls. That last part is what I find most troubling. She was the second-in-command (SIC), and while she was empowered to point out mistakes as part of good crew resource management, she was doing her job, communicating with ATC right to the end in a terrifying situation. She likely knew before many of those calls that she was going to die. I have heard final calls from friends, from military pilots with thousands of hours in fighter aircraft, and they are just as heartbreaking because they know the end is approaching. I understand the public interest given the footage and audio. But you do not know the aircraft’s maintenance history, whether there was a structural failure, if any failure was induced by turbulence, overspeed, or overcontrol, or everything happening in that cockpit. I am sure weather will be part of the investigation, but beyond that, it is speculation. The charter industry routinely hires commercial pilots very early in their careers to gain experience alongside an ATP-qualified captain before they move up to the airlines. She would still have the appropriate training, qualifications, and checkouts by an FAA examiner or designee. Let people investigate, learn, and share the facts. Be respectful to those who perished and the families who carry their memories. God bless them and their loved ones.

Having spent a long time watching Elon Musk, and having talked with him, I believe I understand what he understood before almost anyone else. And it's something every one of us needs to understand now. Western civilization is not one civilization among many. It is the one that gave the world freedom of thought, modern science and the dignity of the individual. And it is under attack. Not by peoples, but by ideologies that want it dead. If it dies, the world will not become more just. It will become poorer, more brutal and darker. For everyone, including those who hate it. Why? Because civilizations are not interchangeable. We were told that any culture could be blended with any other, like mixing colors, and that the result would always be harmonious. It isn't true. A society where women are equal to men cannot coexist without friction with a worldview in which a woman's testimony is worth half a man's. A society where you can criticize God, change your religion or have none cannot absorb, without fracturing, a worldview in which apostasy is paid for with your life. Every people has its own genius and moves at its own pace. But not all values are equal, and you cannot build a nation on laws that contradict each other. Saying so is not racist. Racism is about blood. I am talking about laws, customs and values. And those values belong to no race: a Japanese, a Senegalese or an Iranian can make them his own, and millions have. That is exactly why they are worth defending. Let's remember where they come from. It all begins in Greece. In Athens, for the first time, men decide that truth does not descend from a throne but is sought through reason, and that a city governs itself through debate. Socrates chooses death rather than give up thinking freely. At Salamis, a handful of free cities stops the greatest empire in the world. Then comes Rome. Rome invents law that binds everyone, the citizen who holds rights, the Republic. And one immense idea: you can become Roman without being born Roman. You become Roman by adopting its laws. Christianity adds the most revolutionary idea in history: every human being, slave and emperor alike, has infinite worth. Then France. The cathedrals, those ships of stone our ancestors built over centuries for descendants they would never see. Descartes, Pascal, Voltaire. The Declaration of the Rights of Man. And Napoleon, who gives France the Civil Code, the lycées, and one simple principle: careers open to talent. Murat, the son of an innkeeper, ends up a Marshal of the Empire and King of Naples. The Civil Code spreads across much of Europe and still shapes the law of dozens of countries today. And this civilization goes on to abolish slavery, which had been practiced on every continent since the dawn of time, to push back the plague, smallpox and the night itself, and to set foot on the Moon. Peoples of the West, be proud of this history. Proud does not mean blind. Every civilization has committed crimes: conquest, slavery, war. Ours is the one that went furthest in examining its own faults, to the point of abolishing what it had once practiced. This capacity to question itself is its greatest strength. And that is exactly the strength now being turned against it. Because for decades, this magnificent system has been getting hacked. Not by an army. By an alliance of two forces that have nothing in common except one enemy: us. The first is communism. It lost the economic war, lost the Cold War, lost history's verdict with its tens of millions of dead. But it never lost the universities. It survived by changing costumes: class struggle became the struggle of the oppressed against their oppressors, and the West was declared guilty of everything. It taught our children to be ashamed of their ancestors, their borders and their culture. It is the root cause, because before you can bring down a civilization, you have to take away its will to defend itself. The second is political Islam. I am not talking about Muslims, many of whom came here precisely to escape this ideology and are its first victims. I am talking about a political project that wants to place religious law above civil law. It has no doubts. It feels no shame. It rushes into the void the first one dug. One disarms. The other advances. And let no one on the left believe they will stay in control. History has already staged this play. In 1978, Michel Foucault was enthusing over the Iranian revolution. Iran's communist party, the Tudeh, backed Khomeini and called on Iranians to vote for his Islamic constitution. By 1983, its leaders had been arrested, the party banned, and its chiefs paraded on television to confess their “crimes.” In 1988, thousands of political prisoners were executed, communist activists among them. The second always ends up devouring the first. Useful idiots are only useful for a while. So here is my call to every Western people. To the French, the Italians, the Poles, the Germans, the Spanish, the Americans, to all of you. We are at a turning point. What we do in the next ten years will decide what our grandchildren are allowed to say, believe, write and love. I am not asking you to die for the West. I am asking you for something harder: to live for it. Learn its history and pass it on. Have children. Speak without fear, even when they call you every name in the book. Vote, get involved, run for office. Build companies, schools, factories, families. Refuse the shame they are trying to inject into you. And stop surrendering anything that makes us who we are: freedom of thought, equality before the law, the dignity of every person. The historian Arnold Toynbee understood it: civilizations are not murdered, they commit suicide. And those who think they can let the West fall without paying the price should remember the Iranian communists. They helped tear down what they despised, and then they were next. The Greeks at Salamis were outnumbered. They won because they knew what they were defending. We are the heirs of Athens, Rome, Notre-Dame and the Civil Code. It is no accident that the rockets that will carry humanity to Mars are being built in a free civilization. It is time to prove ourselves worthy of what we were given. The West is worth defending. And no one will defend it for us.

Elon Musk on his grandfather in World War 2: "My grandfather was in World War II for almost six years. All his friends got killed. He's the only one of his friends to survive. And he was severely traumatized. He really just couldn't even talk afterwards. Most of that time was in East Africa, North Africa, Italy. The only reason he's even alive frankly is because towards the end of the war they gave an aptitude test because he was just a corporal. He didn't graduate high school so he wasn't eligible for officer school. And they plucked him out probably right before he died and sent him to work for British intelligence in London which is where he met my grandmother. So he was one of the people fighting to stop the Nazis along with millions of others. So let's not forget that the vast majority of the West fought and died to stop Nazism."

The other supercompute projects are unable to reach their goals, but SpaceX is already achieving ours
SpaceXAI’s Colossus 2 in Memphis is the world’s most powerful AI data center. Roughly 1.11 million H100 equivalents, ahead of OpenAI’s Stargate and the big tech campuses. By mid 2027, Colossus is expected to widen the gap with more Blackwell clusters coming online.

If SpaceX doesn’t pay its loans, the bank can repossess the rockets. If Anthropic doesn’t pay its loans, all the banks have to repossess is Dario. That’s why the credit rating is lower.
In what universe is SpaceX investment grade but Anthropic isn't after the S-1 revealed its inference economics, limited cash burn alongside exponential growth, leadership in the most important market of this generation and net cash position? Are the rating agencies insane?

“Kushner told Zelensky that he should pause the strikes because he and U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff were dedicating a lot of time, energy, and jet fuel to mediating with Moscow, one of the U.S. officials said. A 30-day pause on refineries would be a way for Ukraine to show gratitude, that U.S. official said.” An almost comical thing to tell a nation fighting for its existence. I remember when Neuralink was founded and the few years after it, when Neuralink started to make some noise; prime TSLAQ days. I remember some people calling Elon the most vile things on this app for it. They said he was scamming disabled people (everything was a scam, along with $TSLA). A few years later:
Neuralink’s first product is called Telepathy. It enables high-speed communication with computers or humans simply by thinking. Output bandwidth will vastly exceed the fastest human speech or typing in a few years. Read that sentence again.

Trump has done everything Putin has wanted him to do. In Helsinki he stood with Putin and disclaimed U.S. intelligence. He lobbied to bring Russia back into the G-7. He withheld military aid to Zelensky and pulled out of Syria to give Russia a freer hand. He questioned NATO, lifted sanctions on Deripaska-linked companies, and walked away from the INF Nuclear Treaty. He walked away from Open Skies, leaving European allies blind to what Russia was actually doing. He slowed down Starlink for Ukraine and struck a diesel fuel deal with Russia even though he could’ve gotten a better deal with Canada. How can you not see the link??

Noam Chomsky, the "Father of modern linguistics," looked at evidence of industrial-scale murder and decided the real problem was Western media bias. By 1977, Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge had already killed roughly 1.7 million Cambodians through execution, forced starvation, and slave labor. Chomsky, writing with Edward Herman in "Distortions at Fourth Hand," treated survivor testimony and refugee accounts as State Department fabrications, preferring the far lower body counts published in sympathetic leftist sources. The intellectual gymnastics required to reach that conclusion were extraordinary. Chomsky dismissed Father Ponchaud's firsthand reporting, questioned Francois Ponchaud's credibility directly, and leaned on a 1977 State Department document to suggest deaths numbered in the thousands, not hundreds of thousands. He applied maximum skepticism to anti-communist sources and near-zero skepticism to anything that cut against American foreign policy narratives. The methodology was selective to the point of being fraudulent. Chomsky was not a fringe figure typing in a basement. He held an MIT professorship and commanded enormous intellectual authority among Western leftists. When he cast doubt on Cambodian atrocity reports, journalists and academics listened. Real people died while influential intellectuals debated whether their deaths were sufficiently well-sourced. Collectivist ideology requires enemies to function. When the Khmer Rouge built their agrarian utopia by emptying Phnom Penh at gunpoint and executing anyone wearing glasses, Chomsky's instinct was to protect the ideological project by attacking the messengers. Ideology over corpses.

After SpaceX's very first Falcon 1 rocket failed in March 2006, the team was exhausted and heartbroken. Elon Musk instead of only pushing harder, spent more than $100,000 to book a private Zero-G flight, so his engineers could finally float weightless and get a real taste of the spaceflight they were working so hard to make possible. Many of them had joined SpaceX dreaming of becoming astronauts one day, and I love that in one of the hardest moments for the young company, Elon reminded them why they had started in the first place. Elon understood that people building the future also need to feel it, even if only for a few seconds at a time.

White slaves. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧 For three hundred years, pirates from Algiers sailed to Britain and Ireland, came ashore at night, and took people from their beds. Baltimore, 1631. A hundred and seven people gone in one night. At most three ever came home. Over a million Europeans ended up in chains in North Africa. Nobody bought them. They were stolen. The kings of Europe paid ransom. For centuries. In 1816, Britain stopped paying. Lord Exmouth. Twenty British ships, six Dutch, against one of the strongest fortresses on earth. 27 August 1816. Nine hours. Fifty thousand cannonballs. 128 British sailors killed. The next day the Dey signed. Every Christian slave freed. 1,083 people walked out of Algiers in one afternoon. Terry's first time using his Neuralink implant to communicate through his thoughts is absolutely incredible Terry was diagnosed with ALS in 2024, a disease that has progressively affected his ability to speak Now, Neuralink is translating his intended speech directly from brain signals into words, with Grok Voice recreating his own natural voice Watching Terry's emotional reaction as he hears his words come through is such a powerful moment This is so much bigger than technology It's about giving people who have lost their ability to speak the opportunity to communicate, express themselves, and reconnect with the people they love What Neuralink is building is truly life-changing

this might be my last normal tweet before biotech goes vertical i'm not a whistleblower. I don't work at Lilly, Novo or any of the big labs but there is a massive shift happening in human biology right now. it's sitting in press releases and almost nobody reads them the last 6 months alone: - a once-daily pill roughly doubled median survival in metastatic pancreatic cancer (13.2 vs 6.6 months) - a one-time gene editing infusion cut hereditary angioedema attacks 87%, and 62% of patients stayed attack-free and off all other prevention for 6 months - a one-time gene edit for cholesterol dropped LDL up to 62%, and it held for over a year - a personalized mrna vaccine beat keytruda alone in a 1,137 patient melanoma phase 3 - retatrutide hit ~28% weight loss in a phase 3 - an ai-designed drug entered phase 3 - a pill that regrows hair passed its second phase 3 - an immunotherapy that could let some rectal cancer patients skip surgery, chemo and radiation just got fda approved - a man lived 271 days off dialysis on a pig kidney - human cells were caught passing chromosome-sized chunks of DNA to their neighbors, and it changes how the neighbors behave we are on the verge of an era where the human body is a software problem and the update cycle gets shorter everyday stick around, it's going to get weird bio/acc

🇨🇺🇺🇸 The Cuban delegation at the UN got into a shouting match with Mike Waltz after they disliked him showing how children of the corrupt Castro regime officials live their luxurious lives. US Ambassador to the UN Mike Waltz took the podium, held up photos of the Castro family’s luxury lifestyle, and accused the Havana government of profiting off the forced labor of its citizens. As he spoke, members of the Cuban delegation began slamming their tables and shouting for a point of order. Tensions peaked when Foreign Minister Rodríguez Parrilla left his seat, walked down the aisle, and charged toward the rostrum, shouting that Waltz was a liar. Waltz stood his ground and repeatedly ordered the Cuban official to “back up.” Raising his voice, he said, “This is the United Nations, this isn’t your communist dictatorship. You cannot silence me... He’s not going to intimidate me in the United States of America like he tries to intimidate political prisoners.” The confrontation grew so heated that the President of the General Assembly suspended the meeting to restore order.

Legacy media will never run this list, so I will. 2018, Flint, Michigan: Elon funded filtration systems for schools with unsafe water. Over $480K. 2018, Thailand: SpaceX engineers built a mini-submarine within days to help rescue a boys' soccer team trapped in a flooded cave. 2020, COVID: He sourced and delivered ventilators and supplies to hospitals for free. 2021: He gave Tesla shares worth about $5.7 billion to charity. 2021: He funded a $100M XPRIZE for carbon removal, one of the largest incentive prizes ever. 2022: Starlink kept Ukrainians connected when their networks went down. 2022, Tonga: Starlink helped reconnect the island after a volcano cut its undersea cable. Wildfires, hurricanes, earthquakes: Starlink terminals keep showing up for rescuers and families. And the biggest one, the one that's easy to miss: he's spent his fortune and 20+ years building clean energy, safer cars, and a future for humanity among the stars. They call him a villain. The record says otherwise.

Elon Musk made a bunch of money the last few years and commie Bernie says "gee, I wonder why" Um...Elon's landing rocket ships backwards and building flying cars, you stupid communist. I know you've never built anything, you've only ever worked for government, but Elon not only makes cool shit, he also directly employs over 160,000 people, and God knows how many people make a living using his work product. How many people have you employed in your life, Bernard? What have you built? You've never produced anything of value in your entire impotent life...gee, I wonder why?
Since Trump’s election: -Musk got $680 billion richer -Musk became the 1st trillionaire -SpaceX got $10 billion in federal contracts -Tesla & SpaceX paid $0 in federal income taxes Now, Musk’s spending $442 million to keep Republicans in control of Congress. Gee, I wonder why?
