Stormont is by far the most magnificent legislative building in the UK after the Palace of Westminster.
This would be a truly horrific decision and nationalists need to give their head a wobble.
The SDLP wants to shut down Stormont and move the Assembly to a “more appropriate and more accessible” building in Belfast city centre.
The party argues that its plan will “bring democratic decision-making closer to the people it serves”.

This Islamophobia Awareness Month, we must shine a light on the abhorrent hatred and discrimination Muslims continue to face.
In the last year alone, religious hate crimes targeting Muslims rose by 15% in England and Wales.
This is utterly unacceptable. London will always stand against hatred, prejudice and discrimination.
