Georgia gets the Arkansas and Mississippi State treatment with the night game slate… There might be some instances of that favoring Georgia from a rest standpoint, but they’ve played 6 road night games in this time, which is tied for most in the league
Simply put, they are playing in road environments that are at full volume 2x as much as they are getting that return night game crowd bump at home.
There is a reason why Vegas moves lines based on home/away.
Since the SEC’s new TV deal began in 2024, LSU has played 16 of its 19 home games at night (84%).
Georgia and Mississippi State? Just 4 of 18 (22%).
It gets even worse when you look strictly at SEC conference games.

After talking to several NFL teams and GMs over the last hour, my expectation is the trade deadline will be even crazier than anticipated. Chicago’s all-in move will cause other teams to react and try to be bold as well.
