Turn documents into Agent-Friendly data! OXR is a 1.3B open-source document parsing model that turns PDFs and document images into structured Markdown or JSON. Instead of extracting text alone, it recognizes 13 different document elements including tables, formulas, figures, code blocks, footnotes, and chemical structures, while preserving reading order and layout coordinates. That makes the output much more useful for RAG and agents, where knowing what the text says is only one part of the problem. You also need to know what is a table, where a formula belongs, which caption maps to which figure, and how the document should actually be read. The technical part I found interesting is how OXR was post-trained. It uses a recursive self-improvement loop where OXR first parses unlabeled documents, then a general VLM reviews the outputs for errors and uncertainty. Disagreement across multiple OXR rollouts helps surface uncertain examples, those failures are grouped by cause, and the VLM generates targeted training data for the next round. So instead of manually labeling new data for every iteration, the model’s own parsing failures help decide what it should train on next. The architecture is also different from the usual parsing pipeline. Layout analysis stays independent and pluggable, while recognition and content-aware reading order run in parallel inside the main model. That means teams can replace the layout model for their own document structure without replacing the rest of OXR. And the results are strong for a 1.3B model. OXR ranks #1 on olmOCR-Bench, OmniDocBench, and DocParsingBench. In the reported 100-page speed test on a single RTX PRO 6000, OXR finished in about 101 seconds vs. 161 seconds for DeepSeek-OCR-2. The full model is open source.
Beyond OCR. Meet OXR. Only 1.3B. Open source. #1 on olmOCR-Bench, OmniDocBench & DocParsingBench🏆 #1 in parsing speed among open-source models⚡ RSI-powered. A first in document parsing. Turn documents into Agent-Friendly data. If OXR helps, give us a star on GitHub! 🌟

Building for wearables and IOT shouldn't mean rewriting your model for every chip. Today we're completing the 32-bit open-source Coral NPU architecture (up to 1 TOPS under 10 mW), releasing our v1.0 compiler, and launching new Coralboard devkits with Synaptics: goo.gle/4zGSu17

I just solved "Reverse Engineering" education with Opus 5.5 + /colorfigures skill You don't have to spend $1000+ on a starter kit to learn, just visit my site: • 5 real boards: Arduino Uno R3, ESP32-S3, HC-SR04, Raspberry Pi 5... • build part by part. • break them on purpose: a backwards chip won’t boot, a flipped diode shorts the supply, no cooler and the Pi throttles just send this skill to Claude: > april-zhu.com/colorfigures try it free in comments, no sign-up👇

Ling-3.0-flash-Sante is now open-source. The 124B healthcare MoE activates only 5.1B parameters per token. 🤖 modelscope.ai/models/inclusi… 🏆 #1 among flash-size models on professional healthcare: Scores 54.29 on HealthBench Professional, up 8.56 points, and ranks #2 overall in the team’s evaluation. 🩺 Better at hard medical reasoning: Reaches 76.92 on AFUMED-ComplexReasoning, 90.61 on AFUMED-Drug, and 94.21 on MedQA-USMLE. 🧩 Multi-agent beats single-agent research: BrowseComp rises from 80.20 to 90.47 when moving from one agent to multi-agent collaboration. 🛠️ A healthcare agent, not just medical QA: Deep research, tool use, and task execution gains support real research and professional workflows.

A graph-powered all-in-one RAG system! Fully open-source and multimodal. Modern documents increasingly contain diverse multimodal content like text, images, tables, equations, charts, and multimedia. Naive RAG cannot handle it. RAG-Anything is a graph-driven, all-in-one multimodal document processing RAG system built on LightRAG. It supports all content modalities within a single integrated framework that is built through four stages: 1️⃣ Document parsing 2️⃣ Content understanding and analysis 3️⃣ Multimodal Knowledge Graph Index construction 4️⃣ Modality-aware retrieval Built by the team behind LightRAG! GitHub repo: github.com/HKUDS/RAG-Anythin… 👉 Over to you: What types of multimodal documents do you work with most?

Fibo 2.0 from @bria_ai_ is the #1 open weights model on AA-Image-Editing v2.1 and statistically tied with Qwen-Image-2.1 for the lead on AA-Image-T2I v2.1, a large step up from Bria's first-generation Fibo models on both leaderboards Fibo 2.0 is Bria’s new 8B parameter open weights image model. The weights are released under a non-commercial license, which requires a separate agreement with Bria for commercial use. Bria released two sets of open weights: Fibo 2.0 Dev for Text to Image, and Fibo 2.0 Edit Turbo, a faster distilled model, for Image Editing. We benchmarked Fibo 2.0 through the Bria API at its default settings. Fibo 2.0 is level with Qwen-Image-2.1 as the leading open weights model on both AA-Image-Editing v2.1 and AA-Image-T2I v2.1. It is a large step up from Bria's first-generation Fibo models on both leaderboards: it scores higher on every editing action and Text to Image capability we measure, with the biggest gains in Text or Symbol Edits, Text Rendering and Layout. Fibo 2.0 costs $32 per 1k images on the Bria API. Luma UNI 1 Max ($100 per 1k images) and Qwen Image 2.0 Pro ($75) cost more and score slightly lower on both leaderboards, while Grok Imagine Image Quality scores about the same at $50. It is available through the Bria API and fal, with open weights on Hugging Face. Congratulations to @bria_ai_ on the release! See below for our analysis and example outputs of Fibo 2.0 on AA-Image-Editing v2.1 and AA-Image-T2I v2.1 🧵
