I'm watching black South Africans up in arms defending this religion which doesn't rate them. ANC removed prayers from schools everyone was quiet but when you criticize the Muslims everyone comes for you.Muslims have never spoken out about anything that our people are facing.

Let me explain this for the last time with an example😭
The majority of patients in Khayelitsha hospital are non-muslim and Xhosa. So for example, If I as a caterer want to serve umleqwa, I now can’t serve the food and meat my people eat because a muslim board will say it’s not from a halaal certified butcher or fails some sort of standard they have.
This is not about halaal, apply it Kosher too for all I care, it’s about social, economic, and political currency that minorities enjoy in South Africa at the expense of the majority. We shouldn’t have to explain that to so called “educated” people.
By having to buy from a halaal certified butcher to serve umleqwa where does that leave my local Xhosa suppliers that cannot afford that or simply don’t know how to comply to those specific standards? Who must I now buy from and pay to do business with my own people?

the whole 'Rainbow Nation' chat is one sided, the black South African has to bend over backwards to accommodate their oppressors and groups of people who don't rate them at all. all in the name of being progressive and inclusive but at the cost of their dignity and livelihood

Happening NOW TODAY! in Durban KZN! March and March‼️ The police are blocking the road for protestors not to pass! but uJacinta wandlula kunjalo!!! No police will stop March and March!!🔥🔥🔥

Today we were told by the Police that they are going to court to take away our democratic right to Protest.
We also found out that in the Durban Magistrate Court there is now a specialised prosecution that has been started in order to prosecute members of March and March
So I don’t care who says what anymore but u refuse to keep quiet when we are being moved into a dictatorship and treated like second class citizens in our own country under the ANC government 🤞🏻‼️
You have spent so much money to oppress us instead of using that money to fix the border issue and you still want us to keep speaking highly of a modern day oppressor? Khohlwani nje…

Today I want to applaud our patriot and hero @JacintaNgobese
The woman who has put her safety on the line to fight for South Africa. For our security.
This was the day I knew, she had the bravery to attack evil head on.
For the sake of our future and our children. I have seen many more encouraged by her to stand up themselves, in their communities.
Stand up
&
PUT SOUTH AFRICANS FIRST

You are deliberately being dense. Nobody is talking about forcing people to eat halal or kosher food. We are talking about halal certification becoming a potential barrier to entry for businesses, particularly when it comes to supplying food to government institutions, securing tenders, and operating in certain spaces.
The businesses that do not serve halal food are being unfairly disadvantaged and excluded from opportunities.
Freedom of religion includes the freedom not to practise a religion, and that should not become an economic disadvantage. Stop reducing a discussion about economic access and procurement to a conversation about what people choose to eat.
No one forces people to eat Halaal or Kosher foods. Woolworths stocks Halaal meat for a reason - there is a market for it. Checkers sells Yahrzeit candles - the ones that last all night that Jewish people use to remember their dead loved ones. Let us celebrate our diversity - go to restaurants that sell alcohol and those that do not. Islamophobia has emerged recently - in whose interests?

DEVELOPING:
Ian Cameron, chair of Parliament’s Police Portfolio Committee, says taxpayers are facing a bill of approximately R8.89 million for Senzo Mchunu’s legal representation and the remuneration of both Mchunu and Acting Police Minister Firoz Cachalia.
The figures include R2.7m for Mchunu’s legal fees, R3.16m in remuneration for Mchunu and R3.02m for Cachalia. The remuneration figures run only to August 2026, meaning the total is not fully updated.
Cameron has called on President Cyril Ramaphosa to remove Mchunu from Cabinet, end the duplicated ministerial pay arrangement and ensure full disclosure of legal costs and outstanding commitments.
