I spoke to @declassifiedUK about the Zionist origins of terrorism in the Middle East, and explain why I firmly believe that sooner or later this evil ideology will be defeated.

As a CNN anchor, does Jake Tapper attempt to represent everyone? No. He represents Zionism and Islamophobia and anti-Arab racism. Is he concerned with Palestinian, Arab and Muslim viewers? No. He attacks them. Because he’s a racist obsessed with whitewashing Israel’s crimes
“The point of winning power is to deliver for everyone.”
@NYCMayor @ZohranKMamdani masterfully handles Tapper’s latest Israel bait.

Abdul El-Sayed on Israel:
You're still talking about apartheid policy in the West Bank. You're still talking about a genocide, but nobody wants to say that.
If I stand up and say, "Hey, maybe we shouldn't be sending our money to do the worst things to other people," people are like, "Well, it must be because you hate the people who are doing the worst things."
I'm like, that's insane. It's actually insane.

MSNOW: What is your message now to Jewish voters nationally and what you will do to protect them?
Abdul El-Sayed: I’m committed to Jewish safety, and we are united against discrimination. The U.S. spends billions to carry out genocide and apartheid against Palestinians. The genocide in Gaza with our complicity is continuing right now. Nobody wants to talk about that.

Gaza is not hopeless. Despite Hamas’s entrenchment in the 30% of the Strip it still controls, its defeat is achievable, regardless of clichés like “you can’t kill an idea” propagated since October 7. During speaking events with veteran Israeli journalist Nadav Eyal (@Nadav_Eyal) at Ohio State University and with community members, I challenged the notion that Gaza’s people and Hamas are one and the same. Most Gazans oppose Hamas, even if they retain anti-Israel sentiments. Their anger and disillusionment with the armed “resistance” narrative offer an opening for an alternative nation-building agenda that ensures Gaza never again becomes a citadel of isolation, hate, violence, and Islamist terror.
With a newly elected Congress whose members speak extensively about Gaza and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, radical pragmatism is essential: make a difference, not just a point. Cooperation with Israel, especially if a new coalition emerges after its elections, will be key to transforming Gaza’s prospects. The first step is to establish Hamas-free zones and communities across the “Yellow Line,” in the Israeli-controlled parts of the Gaza Strip, and begin separating civilians from Hamas. Meaningful progress is impossible while the group holds two million Palestinians hostage and uses them as bargaining chips.
Thank you to Nadav Eyal, Ohio State University Hillel, and everyone who organized and attended these events for engaging in difficult but necessary conversations, even amid disagreement.
Dear Israeli friends. Here's the view from New York. Like many of you, I want nothing more than to see Netanyahu gone. But this is not nearly enough. After the huge win by the Democrats here, some people (Lapid, etc.) are posting that, basically, "if we get rid of Netanyahu and just smile more, close our mouth when we eat, and explain things better to our American friends, all be well." It will not. Until and unless there is a dramatic change in Israeli policies in Gaza and the West Bank, and a serious commitment to a Palestinian state, nothing will change. Our current policies are ugly. Lipstick won't help. You don't believe me? Just wait a couple of months.

I want to tell you a story about my brother Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed. In the midst of his campaign, he got wind that a member of our family was writing a cover letter. He looked at it, made edits, even called to give advice. The best man I’ve ever met is headed for US Senate.

El-Sayed: "When you see the world from my vantage point, there are always a few small minded people who speak very loudly and claim to speak on behalf of everybody else. But they don't spend much time talking to everybody else because most everybody else sees them for who they are. So they talk amongst each other and they get louder and louder and louder."

Gaza loves life and wrests it from the jaws of death. Israel has devastated its people, trees, and homes, but it will never extinguish the hope of its people and children.
At the Latin Patriarchate School in Gaza, children cling to hope, even as everything around them gives them reason to fear and despair.
Gaza does not merely love life. Every single day, it fights for the right to live it.

Dr. Adam Hamawy is heading to Congress after winning New Jersey’s 12th District. In 2024 he volunteered at the European Hospital in Khan Younis, performing around 120 surgeries—more than half on children—and refused to leave when the Rafah crossing closed until his entire team could get out safely. He returned for another mission in 2025. The hospital was later struck in May 2025 and has been out of service since—like many others, thanks to the “most moral army.” Direct experience from Gaza’s hospitals, now representing New Jersey.
