Here the thing on Michigan: This is all on El-Sayed. He has never, ever condemned antisemitism and Israel hate. Never. He just hasn’t. And he’s had a million opportunities to do so. He would easily condemn racism against black people. But not antisemitism against Jews. El-Sayed may still win, but he’s the reason this race is super close. He’s the reason black and Jewish voters in Michigan won’t vote Democrat this year. This is all on him.

Lots of replies arguing moving the government via its third largest faction is unrealistic. The alternative is to move the government by a) a party on 10% or b) a party that largely still doesn’t stand candidates This is the politics of emotional spasms not class struggle.
