The Taliban carried out an attack in Virginia. Why are we not charging them as terrorists? Turning a blind eye to the terrorists on U.S. soil will only lead to more loss of life. Allowing foreign assassination attempts in our local communities should be a red line.
47-year-old Bilal Khalid Paktiawal and 23-year-old Arash Paktiawal were arrested on October 25, 2026, by Stafford County deputies in Virginia, and both have been charged with malicious wounding and assault and battery.

Calling out Islamic terrorism isn’t Islamophobia. It’s the bare minimum if you want to stop the next attack.
Al-Qaeda, ISIS, the Muslim Brotherhood and the rest have been running the same campaign for decades. Attacks, bombings, shootings, training camps, funding networks. The body count is enormous and most of the dead are Muslims in their own countries. When it happens in Afghanistan or Syria or Nigeria nobody pretends the ideology doesn’t matter. But the second it hits the West the conversation flips to “Islamophobia” within a day or two.
That label gets used to shut down any talk about the doctrine or the organizations. The Muslim Brotherhood helped invent the tactic. Plenty of Muslim countries have banned them or labeled chapters terrorists because they know the pattern. Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan. If you point out the same connections here you’re the problem.
Looking away just lets it grow. We’ve tried that.

👉This is common sense too me and should have been in place for quite some time. Our military institutions should be self sufficient too a point and should have enough supplies to last for a set amount of time.

BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT
A federal grand jury has indicted Lo Saetern, 35, of Sacramento. Prosecutors say he posted YouTube videos threatening to build a bomb and kill children at a nearby church, an evangelical church in Elk Grove that has not been publicly named. Police found ammunition and powders that can be used to make black powder at his home. These are allegations. He is presumed innocent.
WHAT HAPPENED
- Between Sept. 15 and Sept. 21, 2026, Saetern allegedly posted YouTube videos about building a bomb and killing children at the church.
- Prosecutors say he also talked about a mass shooting targeting Muslims, and made violent threats against a neighbor's daughter.
- On Sept. 21, investigators searched his home and found ammunition, firearms, and bags of sulfur and charcoal powder, which can be combined with potassium nitrate to make black powder.
- Prosecutors say that in December 2019 he claimed he was driving around with a bomb.
THE ACCUSED
- Lo Saetern, 35, of Sacramento.
- Charged with interstate threats, threats involving explosives, and possessing ammunition as a prohibited person. He has been under a lifetime mental health firearm ban since 2019.
- He was being held in the Yuba County Jail.
CURRENT STATUS
- No one was hurt.
WHY IT MATTERS FOR CHURCHES
The threat named children. Children's ministry spaces are some of the most open areas in many churches. This person also had a history: earlier bomb talk and a court order barring him from guns. Threats posted in public are often the only warning a church gets.
WHAT YOUR SAFETY TEAM CAN DO
1. Secure your children's area with controlled entry and a check-in and check-out system.
2. Report any online threat that mentions your church or a church nearby to police and the FBI.
3. Ask local police to tell you when a threat names your area.
4. Practice a lockdown with your children's ministry volunteers.

French prosecutors investigate Paris shooting as suspected terror attack
A man opened fire from a vehicle on Friday in the streets of the town of Trappes, west of Paris, killing one person and wounding four, a policesource said.
The shooting comes as France is on edge following riots on the sidelines of mass protests over the cost of living last weekend, which saw some of the worst street violence the country has seen in recent years.
More protests are expected this weekend, with police promising a larger presence, after a week of overnight curfews put in place in cities throughout the country.
France had seen a spate of Islamist attacks, including the slaughter by jihadists in the heart of Paris in November 2015 that killed 130.
There have been fewer incidents in recent years but officials have warned that the risk remains and that attempted attacks are repeatedly thwarted by intelligence gathering.

The FBI has arrested and charged a 17-year-old from McKinney, Texas, who the agency alleges was plotting to assassinate Republican Rep. Keith Self at an event last Saturday.
According to federal investigators, the juvenile also planned a terrorist attack in North Texas on behalf of ISIS.
Self has been behind legislation aimed at Islamic extremism, including a non-binding resolution that denounces Sharia law and opposes its implementation within the United States. The congressman also sponsored legislation against Islamic extremism and Sharia law.

Two men from Westminster have been re-arrested as part of a majorcounter-terrorism investigation into suspected Iran-linked activity near RAF Fairford.
Counter Terrorism Policing said a 24-year-old British man and a 25-year-old dual British-Iranian national were detained on Tuesday on suspicion of assisting a foreign intelligence service. Police confirmed the investigation relates to Iran.
