"Everybody Wants to Rule the World" is from Tears for Fears' 1985 album Songs from the Big Chair. The synth-pop classic reached #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100, #2 in Canada, #2 in Ireland, and #2 on the UK Singles Chart.
Although Roland Orzabal was initially reluctant to record the song, it went on to become the band's signature hit and won Best Single at the 1986 Brit Awards.

Dear Lord, our Heavenly Father, we thank You for calling us into the company of those who trust in Christ and seek to obey his will. You have made us strangers no longer, but explorers together on the path to Your kingdom. Let Your kingdom spread over the whole world, over all people, over all races and nations, that we may become united as servants of Jesus Christ to Your honor. Guide us closer to You and to one another in the unity of the Spirit and the bond of peace,
and strengthen us together
in mission and service to Your world. We humbly ask for a deeper relationship with You, so we can have a heightened awareness of Godβs presence in us. May we rejoice always, pray continually, and let the peace of Christ rule our hearts, for as one body we are called to Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus name we pray, AmenπβοΈ
Matthew 28: 19-20
βGo ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.β

If you're OVER 40 and still trying to hit a PR every time you walk into the gym, you're doing it WRONG.
You don't need to bench more every week to build a bigger chest.
You don't need to train to failure on every set.
And you DEFINITELY don't need to destroy your joints just to satisfy your ego.
I'm not saying train like a pussy. I'm saying train SMART.
Progressive overload isn't just adding weight to the bar.
The goal isn't to win today's workout. It's to keep building muscle for the next 20 YEARS.
I break down exactly how to do it in my new video.
WATCH THIS if you're over 40 and still training HARD! π

Drove back from preseason nationals (wrestling) Sunday and headed straight to our facility after 10 hours on the road.
Had @PrestonLobliner do one of my favorite squat progressions.
All for 3 sets of 5 reps:
Slant Board SSB Squat
SSB Squat
SSB Box Squat
Progress in weight each set into the next squat variation.
Then rounded it out with some single leg and hamstring movements.

They're putting PROTEIN in EVERYTHING now.
Cookies. Chips. Cereal. Candy. Ice cream.
Look, I'm a HUGE believer in eating 1g of protein per pound of body weight.
But putting 15g of protein in a cookie doesn't magically make it HEALTHY.
The problem isn't protein. It's the ridiculous marketing convincing people that anything labeled HIGH PROTEIN is automatically good for you.
This craze has gotten completely OUT OF CONTROL.
I break it all down in my new video.
