The “intelligence” that Kennedy is referring to are Israeli talking points pushed by Israeli lobbyists like Dubowitz.
In the lead up to the war Israeli gov officials & lobbyists were pushing this nonsense but there was zero actual intel to support these outlandish claims.

Trump's military budget is already $1.1 trillion.
I know a lot of folks are talking about the election results, but this tweet, from a sitting @VP, is stunning. The decision to go to war is the most solemn responsibility that a President and Vice President have as leaders.
So for you to reduce it to a simple political calculation while we still have 50,000 troops in the Middle East, is one of the most crass, cynical things I've seen. You and President Trump got us into this war, without a clear objective and without regard for the will of the American people. It's cost us American lives and billions of dollars of American treasure, with no end in sight.
Last night, the American people delivered a crystal-clear message about the mismanagement of this war, and what it has done to our pocketbooks. Whether you supported the war or simply failed to stop it, your job is not to try and cover yourself, but to get us out of it.

Mohsen Rezaei returns from Moscow, Trump hedges on whether he will or won’t strike Iran, and Tehran is left weighing yet another de-escalation pitch. In Doha, Qatari mediators scramble to salvage a return to the table even as explosions still echo across the Strait of Hormuz. In Washington, the shockwaves of Trump’s post-election defeat ripple through his camp, while in Israel, political chaos deepens under the shadow of Netanyahu’s ominous silence.
Neither war nor peace, the stalemate buys itself another hour.

But inside China, there is a rich debate about the direction of the country, and most economists worry about the lack of demand in China."

Sorry, but the first two things Blinken lists — “alienate allies” and “appease autocrats” — were non-issues in the election. By contrast, U.S. support for Israel was front and center, and Blinken doesn’t even mention it.
The midterm results send a clear message: How we show up in the world affects our lives at home, and Americans understand that. When we alienate allies, appease autocrats, impose arbitrary tariffs, and drive needless conflict, American families pay the price. The Administration’s actions over the last two years have had real consequences for our security, our economy, and our everyday lives. Americans have spoken loud and clear. We should act on the message they're sending. A good place to start: a diplomatic resolution to President Trump's war of choice with Iran.

Here is one of Netanyahu's favored journalists finding a silver lining in AES winning his seat in a purple state by *just* seven points.
The bad news keeps piling up. What happened in America last night is a catastrophe. Take AIPAC’s worst nightmares, double them, and you still don’t get close.
The only consolation is that Abdul El-Sayed won his Senate seat by a smaller margin than expected. Will the Democrats learn that anti-Israel politics and antisemitism cost you votes? I doubt it. And a great many Jews voted for him anyway.
It’s getting worse. First the Democrats blamed Israel for America’s troubles: grocery prices, America’s slipping standing, the war with Iran.
Now, with JD Vance’s tweet and Donald Trump Jr.’s share, the Republicans are blaming Israel for the Republican Party’s troubles. Vance’s message: we stuck too close to Israel.
That is far more dangerous. Israel now faces its biggest challenge in Washington since at least the 1975 “reassessment,” when Ford and Kissinger froze arms deals to pressure Jerusalem.
There’s only one answer I know of: a national unity government. Flirting with a new election, a minority government propped up by the Arab parties, or a deal with the Haredim would be a grave mistake.
