Senator Murphy has campaigned continuously, raised funds, and ensured Democratic turnout. We should pray for his complete recovery. Let us finish the task. We appreciate you, Senator Murphy.

Just finished an amazing book called "The Remants." About the author's family ... Mennonite farmers in Stalinist #Russia ... who'd settled there at the invitation of Catherine the Great two centuries earlier. Riveting does not do it justice. Tolstoy on the steppes. Exquisite.

The level of betrayal here is breathtaking and beyond disgraceful. This is murder. And Markwayne Mullin should be charged as an accessory.

Proud and grateful that Ukraine has a friend like you, José. Thank you to you and the entire World Central Kitchen team for the warmth of your dishes and hearts.
As the great people of Oleshky arrived to Ukraine after a long trip @WCKitchen lead by Yuliya is ready with borscht, and many other Ukranian dishes!
The route was long: from Oleshky through Crimea to Anapa in Russia, then a flight to Belarus and onward by road into Chernihiv region. After a journey like that, warm, good food matters a great deal. #ChefsForUkraine
Proud that the teams were first in Irpin and Bucha, in Kherson….so many special powerful moments! now here…Ukrainians are the best of us!

Amazing.
#OnThisDay Nov 1 1841: On a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River, Fr Lucien Galtier dedicates a hastily built log chapel to "St. Paul, apostle of nations." In 1849 the settlement around it is incorporated as St. Paul, a name deemed superior to its previous name "Pig's Eye."
The little log church later serves as a school for the Sisters of St. Joseph, and in 1856 it's dismantled and hauled up the hill to be rebuilt as a historic site on the new campus of St. Joseph's Academy. Unfortunately, this plan isn't clearly communicated to the workmen, who burn the logs to keep warm.

Posting a meme of a Black man as the ultimate example of SNAP fraud is wild when Walmart has the largest number of workers on SNAP. The American people are basically subsidizing the workforce of a company that generates over 700 billion in revenue a year because they won’t pay their workers fair wages. THAT is the type of fraud that’s unfair to American taxpayers.
