Younger voters are extremely concerned about data privacy and surveillance. They're also far more tech-savvy than most of the political class and they understand that "age verification" - is "papers please" to access the digital world.
They understand that ID verification does not protect children online.
They have watched as red states and the republicans in Congress have worked fast and furious to implement this de facto digital ID through legislation or litigation.
This is uniparty, Big Government, surveillance of citizens and outside of the astroturfed coalitions, nobody actually wants this!!

Everyone talks about “compliance” when it comes to privacy.
Compliance with which jurisdiction? North Korea? Zambia? Transnistria?
when you call a smart contract in jurisdiction X, do you need to comply with laws of jurisdiction Y?
Do I need to prove to the guy who owns a kebab shop I am not a criminal to buy a kebab? No, I hand him cash and he hands me a kebab.
Privacy is normal, we need to not be afraid to make digital cash have the same properties as physical cash.

gov being the issuing party for id is just an extension of the licensing scheme
and when it comes to a id, a non authenticated or alleged non-valid id takes away individuals' right to life
our current system of id issuance, by design, creates a slave system

In my view, their relationships with Pump and Fomo deserve far more scrutiny. The same faces keep showing up around launches while crypto’s reputation gets dragged further into the gutter.
We cannot keep rewarding this culture and expect anything to change.
Stop funding their lifestyles.
Stop giving them reach.
Stop confusing followers with credibility.

Maybe time to replace these politicians by rational ai agents. They are not representing the American people’s interest in deserving better tech solutions, they just represent their own or the ones of their political parties. Think of all the time and resources wasted over the past 10 years with he money of the American people.
