REMINDER: AUDITIONS! We're currently accepting applications for our *Historic World Premiere* performance of Marianna Bottini's 1822 opera "Elena e Gerardo". Performance takes place in Oct 2023. All roles are paid. For all details visit the website: randomopera.co.uk/auditions/

Throwback to where it all began! 10 years ago today we had our first ever production - a performance of Carmen featuring Adriana Festeu as Carmen, Danae Eleni Pallikaropoulos as Micaela, Andrew Bell as Escamillo and Phill Abbott as Don Jose. #tbt #opera #rugby

It's just two weeks until our production of Der Freischütz, and time to introduce our first cast member! Tenor PHILIP CLIEVE is performing the role of MAX, the young huntsman whose desperation to win the shooting contest gets him tangled up with Samiel, the wild huntsman.

Help us to bring an historic WORLD PREMIERE to the stage! Today we're launching our fundraising campaign to achieve this goal, and we need your help! Visit our crowdfunder page now to hear the first ever recording of Elena's aria “Perchè mai”. crowdfunder.co.uk/p/elena-ge…

"The small part of Giannetta was sung with tremendous confidence by Rebecca Madden" #ROCElisir

"Richard Tegid Jones, as Dr Dulcamara, displayed great comic talent and pattered with aplomb" #ROCElisir

Baritone Mike Dewis was the arrogant Belcore, and "...almost stole the show... Dewis brought out the seedier, lascivious unpleasantness of Belcore" #ROCElisir

Joining her as the lovelorn Nemorino, tenor Andrew Henley "...looked and acted the part to near perfection" #ROCElisir

Colombian soprano Julieth Lozano stars as Adina, in a performance described as "almost the perfect Adina"; "...she brought out the capriciousness of the character, and relished the vocal difficulties of the role" #ROCElisir
