Question for you, @SenateGOP @ChuckGrassley @LeaderJohnThune and @SpeakerJohnson
Why is the United States continuing to export diesel fuel while BUYING diesel from our enemy, Russia, at the same time Russia is helping Iran attack and kill U.S. soldiers?
Americans want answers
So tomorrow, the first tanker carrying 40,000 metric tons of Russian diesel is set to depart for the US. Let’s do the math.
40,000 tons is roughly 300,000 barrels.
The US consumes about 4 million barrels of diesel per day. That means this entire tanker covers less than two hours of American demand.
At the same time, the US exports around 1.5 million barrels of diesel a day—meaning this shipment is equivalent to just 4.5 hours of US exports.
The voyage from Ust-Luga to US terminals takes 2.5 to 3 weeks. By the time the tanker arrives, the US will have exported over 4 million tons of its own diesel—a hundred times more than what this single tanker is delivering.
So, one of the world's largest diesel exporters is buying diesel from an aggressor state just to cover two hours of domestic consumption? - Presidential Commissioner for Sanctions Policy Vladyslav Vlasiuk.

I know lots of people in Iowa who own small planes. The beef isn't that you have a plane. It's the fact you have to use the plane to commute back and forth between your home in Kansas and campaign stops in Iowa.
Replying to @ZachLahn
Rob’s supporters are commenting on this criticizing my ownership of a small plane, while overlooking him being the wealthiest candidate for IA Governor likely ever.

Here’s your election interference and fraud, @SenateGOP.
How about stopping this voter intimidation?
Armed and in uniform, federal agents from the Department of Homeland Security have been knocking on doors in several states to ask residents about their immigration status — and to inquire if they have registered to vote or cast votes in past elections, a CBS News Investigation has found. cbsnews.com/news/federal-age…

Putin’s such a humanitarian, huh @SEPeaceMissions?
Three waves of ballistic missiles have been launched at Kyiv by Russian “humanitarians” since yesterday evening. They used 21 missiles. Unfortunately, numerous sites across the city have been hit and damaged: ordinary residential buildings, energy facilities, infrastructure at one of the railway stations and the metro, shopping malls, and businesses. Even a monastery is among the damaged sites. Our emergency services are working at all the affected locations. Twelve of our regions came under Russian attack overnight. In Kyiv and across the regions, 34 people were injured, including five children. As of now, two people have been confirmed killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones.
Almost immediately after another round of talks, Russia launched a pointed attack. This means there has been no real change in its attitude toward everything that is happening. It is important to keep trying to find the right solutions to end this war. But when Russia responds to negotiations with ballistic missiles, real pressure on Russia is needed to bring about different steps – steps toward ending the killing. Stronger air defenses and the rapid delivery of missiles, the ability to destroy ballistic missile launchers, sanctions over the war – all of this must be in place. I am grateful to everyone who sees the situation for what it is and acknowledges the reality. The aggressor deserves to be treated accordingly. Ukraine deserves support. People's lives deserve protection. Thank you to everyone who stands with Ukraine!
Stiffing his own parents is pretty low for @ZachLahn’s Lt Governor partner, Derek Wulf.
Why would Iowa want to put a man like that one heart beat away from OUR tax money?
NO thanks.
More trouble for @ZachLahn's running mate. His parents have filed in court against him, saying he owes them $275k. desmoinesregister.com/story/… via @LetsJett

Zach Lahn keeps skimming past the fact that Rob, his wife and his kids, for that matter, all live _in Iowa._
If tornados take out Ankeny, we wouldn’t have to wonder if he’d be able to deal with it or if it’s his weekend to be out of town again while Derek Wulf is MIA.

This was the first choice Lahn made as the candidate. Why are we supposed to trust him with all of Iowa?

The man Republican candidate for Iowa Governor and Kansas resident @ZachLahn chose as his running mate, Derek Wulf, is in so much financial trouble he’s stiffed his own parents for $275,000.
Wulf shouldn’t be anywhere near Iowa tax dollars.

Glad to see CNN reporting on this. @Acosta and I raised concerns about DHS potentially using a military-grade “heat ray.”
After 20+ years in national security, I find this deeply troubling.

Why does DHS need this?

DS: “What about the Iran war? That’s I thought what’s causing the prices to go up, is that incorrect? It’s Biden?”
TS: “Yeah. It’s still carryover from what Biden did to us and had been doing to us”
DS: “You don’t think it has anything to do with the war?”
TS: “No, I don’t. I’m not buying it. I think it’s just a bunch of crap that we’re being… uh… forced into believing that we been forced to believe into all this time”
