ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లో ప్రజాస్వామ్యం ఎటువైపు?
ప్రతిపక్ష కార్యకర్తలపై దాడుల ఆరోపణలు.. రాజకీయ ప్రత్యర్థులను లక్ష్యంగా చేసుకుంటున్నారనే విమర్శలు.. ఫిర్యాదులపై చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలనే డిమాండ్లు.. వెరసి రాష్ట్రంలో రాజకీయ వాతావరణం మరోసారి వేడెక్కింది.
అధికారంలో ఉన్నది ఏ పార్టీ అయినా సరే.. ప్రత్యర్థి గొంతు వినిపించకూడదనుకోవడం ప్రజాస్వామ్య స్ఫూర్తికి విరుద్ధం. రాజకీయంగా ఎదుర్కోవాల్సిన వారిని భౌతిక దాడులతో ఎదుర్కొంటున్నారనే ఆరోపణలు వస్తే, వాటిని ప్రభుత్వం తేలిగ్గా తీసుకోవడానికి వీల్లేదు.
ప్రశ్న ఒక్కటే.. దాడులకు పాల్పడినవారు ఎవరైనా చట్టం ముందు నిలబడతారా? బాధితులకు న్యాయం జరుగుతుందా? లేక రాజకీయ పలుకుబడే న్యాయాన్ని శాసిస్తుందా?
ప్రజాస్వామ్యంలో అధికారం ప్రజలు ఇచ్చిన బాధ్యత.. ప్రత్యర్థులపై పెత్తనం చెలాయించే లైసెన్స్ కాదు. ఈ ఆరోపణలపై నిష్పక్షపాత విచారణ జరగాలి. తప్పు చేసినవారు ఎవరైనా చర్యలు తప్పకూడదు.
ప్రభుత్వాలు మారవచ్చు.. అధికారాలు మారవచ్చు.. కానీ రాజ్యాంగం ముందు చట్టం మాత్రం అందరికీ ఒక్కటే!

The proposal for a Visakhapatnam Bhogapuram Coastal Road is not new.
As per the Rajya Sabha reply dated 20 July 2022, the Government of India confirmed that the Andhra Pradesh Government had already proposed the project, and NHAI had been directed to prepare the DPR in December 2020.
At that time, the DPR was still under preparation, with further decisions to be taken based on the feasibility study.
Therefore, portraying the coastal road as a completely new initiative would not reflect the documented timeline. The project proposal and DPR process were already underway by 2022.
Coastal Road Proposed to Transform Vizag–Bhogapuram Connectivity
• New Greenfield roads are currently under construction to reduce traffic congestion and improve connectivity to Bhogapuram International Airport
• A long-term solution being advocated is a coastal road from RK Beach to Bhogapuram, offering faster and seamless airport access
• The proposed coastal corridor could significantly enhance connectivity to tourism hubs, IT corridors and key urban growth centres, supporting the long-term development of the Visakhapatnam region
