The R2TF Fortifies Our Legal Foundation Today we welcome MAJ Rich Brantley to the R2TF!!! This marks a significant milestone for the continued redemption of our Warriors who were unlawfully purged from the ranks! Rich and his wife were both @USArmy Judge Advocates who were given the same unlawful order to receive the COVID shot. Shockingly, while MAJ Brantley was serving in his official capacity as a trial counsel in 2021, and after he had already submitted a request for a religious accommodation, he was directed not to give ANY legal advice related to the unlawful COVID mandate and then removed from all current and related cases tied to that mandate. His wife also received the same outrageous directive. I continue to find it unconscionable how brazenly our military leaders silenced some of the most morally courageous and clear minded patriots among us. Rich faithfully upheld his oath to the U.S. Constitution and was unyielding in his commitment to protect the very freedoms he dedicated his life to defend. Rich stood firm amidst a tidal wave of threats and intimidation from hostile “leaders” while enduring the mockery and shameful actions of his peers. For more than five years, Rich has had his unblemished service completely derailed as a result of his steadfast commitment to the truth. BUT TODAY IS A NEW DAY! Rich’s brilliant legal mind now fortifies the COVID Reinstatement & Reconciliation Task Force and will once again serve those Warriors who held the line as we relentlessly fulfill the @POTUS Executive Order to make things right. Rich is one of the only JAG officers I personally know in the Army who remained faithful to the law - Title 10 USC 1107a - and got this right! Thanks to the principled leadership and support of @SecWar @PeteHegseth and @SecArmy Adam Telle, I couldn’t be happier to lock shields with this fine officer once again! Big win for the @DeptofWar!!! Today I issued an Executive Order designating “Seminole Wind” by John Anderson as the official anthem of Florida. I have also directed the @FLSecofState to erect historic markers in the City of Apopka depicting John Anderson’s contribution to Florida’s heritage. In addition, I have tasked @FLDEPNews to work with the @SJRWMD to designate wildlife drive and trail system within Lake Apopka North Shore as the John Anderson Wildlife Drive and Trail System.

I'm a Board Certified anesthesiologist and have been in practice for 24 years. I just learned that the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where I trained has launched a program to increase flu vaccine uptake among children by vaccinating them while under anesthesia. The program is called "Close your Eyes. We'll Immunize" This is stunningly irresponsible. Here's why: Anesthetists are extremely risk avoidant and endeavor to minimize patient exposure to anything which carries potential side effects. This is particularly true of pediatric patients who very often have never been exposed to anesthetic medications. We simply cannot know how an individual child will respond to these drugs for the first time. Every single medication we administer during an operation can potentially trigger untoward or allergic responses. When this occurs our primary responsibility is to stabilize the patient. Our secondary responsibility is to identify the offending agent. There is absolutely no justification of introducing another agent, in this case a flu vaccine, which carries a risk of harm and contributes nothing to the success of the operation. Some of the more common side effects of flu vaccines are fever (11-16%) and less commonly, a rash (1%). There is also an non-zero risk of severe allergic reactions and high-grade fevers which can develop over the course of minutes. What if a child under anesthesia receives a vaccine and develops a rash and/or fever? Is it from the antibiotic that the surgeon requested? Is it from the narcotic? The anxiolytic? The barbiturate? Anesthetic gases can also (rarely) trigger a life threatening response called Malignant Hyperthermia which commonly presents as a high fever. Without subsequent testing we cannot know which agent was responsible. Most commonly the testing is never done and the child’s record will forever reflect the possibility that some or all of the drugs which were used are responsible for their reaction. This makes future anesthetic care significantly more challenging and will require the use of alternatives which may not be necessary. Advocating for a flu vaccine while a child is anesthetized reflects the pervasive yet inaccurate attitude among the medical establishment that vaccines are perfectly safe. I simply cannot believe that my mentors would have ever supported this initiative when I was a resident there. Close your eyes indeed.

Covid is still a thing. Got my annual vaccine to protect myself and my community. Thanks to anti-vaxers, their god-king RFK, Jr. and troves of misinformation, we’ve seen vaccine hesitancy nationwide. Science is real. I trust our local public health officials and my doctors.
