This graph is scientific garbage masquerading as precision.
You're comparing modern temperature measurements with geological proxies from 56 to 252 MILLION years ago, pretending they have comparable temporal resolution.
They don't.
Mass spectrometers measure isotope ratios, not ancient temperatures or dates. Geological records smooth out rapid changes, and sampling resolution isn't chronological accuracy.
No error bars. No meaningful uncertainty. No accounting for geological smoothing.
And the cherry on top? They use RCP8.5, an extreme emissions scenario whose plausibility as a business-as-usual future has been seriously challenged in the scientific literature, to project warming thousands of years into the future.
So we have ancient proxy records with enormous uncertainties compared against modern instruments and an implausible high-end projection.
This isn't evidence of unprecedented warming. It's a textbook example of how to manufacture a terrifying graphic by ignoring uncertainty, mixing incompatible resolutions, and choosing an extreme scenario.
My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will:
1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.
2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.
3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.
This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.
All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.
Palmer Luckey says analysts claiming it's too expensive to manufacture in the US are lying to protect megacorps
"I think I have a more realistic view than almost anybody. One of the problems with all these analysts that are telling you that it's going to cost $37,000 to build an American iPhone or $100,000 to buy an American computer."
"They're trying to prop up a status quo that the megacorporations want to keep going. They want to outsource everything. They want to hire cheaper non-American labor."
"They are willing to say and do anything to convince you that it can't be fixed, that it can't come back, that America is this helpless, neutered, post-relevant empire, and it is just not the case."
"How do I know that? Because I have to make stuff in America every day because I work in the defense industry. The stuff that Anduril makes every day is not actually that different from a computer. My drones are basically computers. They have memory, a GPU, a CPU, sensors, batteries, a rugged integration."
"The only difference between an Anduril attack drone and a laptop is a keyboard and a screen. That is not that hard to figure out, especially for a guy like me who started Oculus and comes from the consumer electronics space."
"We're not going to let people lie about what America can and can't do anymore. We're just going to do it."

I don't know how many people realize that if Elon Musk pulls off what he's building, it will be the biggest social reset in human history.
To understand why, you need to understand a concept almost nobody really gets: rent.
Yesterday I was talking about it with someone. I told them something simple: the moment a rent sets in, whatever kind it is, it gets paid for. Not necessarily in dollars. It gets paid for in stagnation.
So what is a rent?
A rent is income that doesn't come from the value you create, but from the position you hold. You don't win because you're better. You win because nobody is allowed to come and beat you.
The mechanism is almost always the same. A company succeeds. Then, instead of continuing to innovate, it goes for regulatory capture: licenses, standards, quotas, approvals, lobbying. It turns its lead into a wall. And behind that wall, new entrants can't get in.
But they're the ones who innovate. They're the ones who drive prices down, raise quality, create new wealth. When you block them, nothing dramatic happens. Nothing happens at all. Prices stop falling. Quality stalls. The pie stops growing. And when the pie stops growing, the only way to get richer is to take someone else's slice.
This is the point almost nobody sees: what people blame on "capitalism" (frozen inequality, a broken social ladder, the feeling that the game is rigged from the start) are the effects of that stagnation. The symptoms of rent. Not of capitalism. Capitalism is competition. Rent is its negation.
Now, Elon Musk.
He said that by 2036, money won't matter anymore. Most people read it as science fiction. I read it as an implicit critique of our entire monetary system.
His reasoning: AI and robots will produce more than we can possibly consume. So prices will collapse. Deflation, not inflation.
And this is where it gets interesting. For decades, the role of central banks has been to stabilize prices. In practice: to stop them from falling. Yet in an economy that innovates, the natural direction of prices is down. Look at what a computer cost thirty years ago.
Preventing prices from falling was the worst thing we could have done. Because it created an entire generation of rentiers. People who got rich not by creating something, but by owning something at the right time. An apartment. A plot of land. An asset shielded from falling prices by money printing and by rules that choke supply.
In a world not captured by the state, house prices would be extremely low.
And who would stay rich? The people who keep creating value. The ones whose wealth comes from the valuation of their company, because their company keeps innovating. Wealth you have to re-earn every single year.
That's where Elon's line really makes sense. In a world of deflationary abundance, human life would look like a video game. Or a game of chess.
If you're good and you start at the bottom, you can rise very, very fast. In a few years.
If you're bad and you inherit the inertia of a position you don't know how to maintain, against people who keep innovating, you fall very, very fast too.
No more rent. No more entitlement. Just your ability to create value, put back on the line every day.
It would be the greatest equalizer in human history.
Not equality of outcomes imposed from above. Equality of the playing field, imposed by abundance.
I think Elon Musk is reinventing the rules of capitalism. Or rather, bringing them back to their original form: the Austrian school. Real capitalism. Value creation as the only legitimate source of wealth.
And at the end of the road, something neither rent nor redistribution has ever achieved: the end of poverty on a global scale.
Correct.
Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be.
Starshield, a different system, is controlled by the US government. What they decide to do is up to them.
Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week.
Starlink remains critical to the defense of Ukraine, as it is the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, at least for now. Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact.
Starlink was also crucial to preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the early days of the war, as all other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia.
SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR.
That said, I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict. May you burn in hell.
End of story.

Rubio just said something that I have been preaching for YEARS!
He says everyone needs to “grow up” about foreign policy, and that it’s a good thing for the US, Russia, and China, to talk to each other.
The public have to be reprogrammed. They have been conditioned for decades to believe that Russia and China are our enemies, and that’s just how it has to be forever. When in reality, it doesn’t have to be that way. In fact, that line of thinking is archaic, and can only lead to an eventual global conflict.
The truth is, the US, Russian, and Chinese Militaries, all understand that war between any of the three nuclear superpowers would be detrimental to the world, and nobody wants that.
And if you want to go big picture 40,000 feet, Trump, Putin, and Xi, all share a common enemy, the transnational criminal organization known as the Deep State. I think all three of these leaders have come to an agreement to wipe the Deep State from the planet, and then after we get done riding the world of this evil organization destabilizing the globe, the three superpowers will be responsible for their spheres of influence, and work together as global partners instead of adversaries.
You are witnessing the dawning of a new age, with a new global power structure, and new rules of engagement, that protect sovereign nations and their People.

.@realDonaldTrump made a deal with Putin for diesel.
He also told Zelensky our patience is worn out. Ukraine can't defeat Russia unless we intervene and we won't. They must make peace and that means Russia keeps the areas it has occupied for five years.
That sucks but reality trumps emotions. Nobody wants Putin to be rewarded for his aggression, but we are not going to start WWIII to stop that.
Either Zelensky recognizes that or he will be going it alone, well he will have Europe but that's not enough to prevail. President Trump has rightly determined that the boundaries of Ukraine are not a US strategic interest.
I told this to @piersmorgan when I was allowed to get a few sentences in without interruption.

The Russian diesel deal has many people squealing. A couple of points:
1. Russia and Putin are the bad guys. They attacked Ukraine.
2. That doesn’t matter any more, US strategic interests do.
Putin does not represent a legitimate threat to NATO. Even with his entire military machine he couldn’t even take Kiev. Now Russia has been degraded and it would be a death wish to attack NATO and bring the Big Dog (US) off the porch.
Ukraine’s territorial integrity is not a US strategic interest it is a Ukrainian one. Our goal is an end to this war and the logical end state is that Putin keeps the border provinces he currently controls to ensure a land bridge to Crimea.
That has been the case since the war began and as I told @SebGorka in February of 2022 More than 4.5 years and so many lives earlier.
The arguments that we would not accept this if it happened to us are invalid although partially true. Of course we wouldn’t, but we are the US and we can stop anyone who tries to take our territory without needing help.
Ukraine can’t, as we have seen over the past 5 years. So it’s time to accept a new map. And let’s not pretend that has never happened before. The borders for Ukraine have been quite fluid over the course of history and this change will last as long as it does.
Putin is not going to take a loss and Ukraine can’t inflict one. Everything else is moral posturing. I feel deeply for the Ukrainian people, but that does not change the facts or the US interests.
We all need the war to end and whatever deal-making gets us closer to that is a good thing.

The execution of former Maj. Nidal Hassan is a military matter, not the carrying out of a civilian criminal sentence.
He was convicted by Court Martial by a panel of Army Officers who then sentenced him to death.
He murdered fellow uniformed military personnel while on active duty during wartime. That's treason.
His conduct was no different than had he been in deployed front line unit and turned his weapon on his fellow soldiers.
This is Military Justice. It is by the Military for the benefit of the Military.
Quit equating it to a civilian criminal offense.

Dear Muslims: My family and I have decided to move from the US to a Muslim country. We haven't picked which one yet—we're still comparing which one offers the best benefits package.
All my neighbors want to come too. And my neighbors' neighbors. And all their friends. And their friends' friends. Millions of us will show up with suitcases and a sense of entitlement.
As a large Christian community, we'll need a few small changes: Please start building churches immediately. Real churches, with nice loud bells, the kind that can be heard from the town square.
We'll also need for everyone to celebrate Christmas, and to close certain streets once a year for our processions. We may want to gather to pray to our Almighty God on your streets, in your parks, or on the lawns of your mosques.
We'll be an oppressed minority, so you'll have to be understanding and adapt to our way of life. Every supermarket must stock real pork, ham, chorizo, and bacon. And we're bringing all our dogs, so you'll need dog parks, and you'll have to smile tolerate them we walk them in front of your mosques. We want our women to be able to safely go out alone and wear shorts and tank tops. And when the weather's nice, we men like to go shirtless. We also want to drink alcohol, dance, and place an occasional bet at the horse races.
While we're at it, your religious holidays are a bit too much; they could offend the Christian community, so we'd appreciate it if you'd discreetly eliminate them. Thanks.
In schools and workplaces, our children and employees must be able to wear large crucifixes, say prayers, eat ham sandwiches in the cafeteria, and learn Christian principles without anyone getting criticized. We also demand chapels or Christian prayer rooms in every building, plus translators, because we have no intention of learning Arabic.
If any of this is rejected, please send a list of police station addresses so we can report you for discrimination, Christianophobia, racism, and anything we don't like.
One more thing: if my kids protest or burn your flag for any reason, please be understanding. I'll be sure to give them a very serious scolding.
Finally, we all want generous benefits, free housing, phones, free food, and pocket money while we "integrate" over the next three generations. Working is optional, obviously. Be patient with us, you'll get used to it.
We thank you in advance for your tolerance and compassion. After all, diversity is our strength!
Sincerely,
A Very Reasonable Christian

1970. Yungay, Peru.
An earthquake triggered a colossal rock-and-ice avalanche from Nevado Huascarán. 50–100 million m³ of material raced ~14.5 km down the mountain and buried Yungay. More than 18,000 people were killed.
Atmospheric CO₂: ~326 ppm.
If a catastrophe like this happened today, climate attribution would immediately dominate the headlines. But catastrophic glacier, rock and debris flows have been occurring in high mountains for centuries... and the geological record at Huascarán shows repeated prehistoric events.
Put the emphasis where it can actually save lives: monitor unstable slopes and glaciers, map hazard zones, build warning systems, improve evacuation plans and make mountain communities more resilient.
We cannot prevent earthquakes or eliminate every mountain hazard by changing atmospheric CO₂. We can get much better at keeping people out of their path.
I’ve spent many weeks doing fieldwork in Tibet, sitting above these enormous, deeply incised Himalayan river systems and seeing firsthand just how geologically active this landscape is.
So spare me the climate-change grift every time a natural disaster strikes.
Catastrophic glacial outburst floods are not new. The 1981 Zhangzangbo GLOF released ~20 million m³ of water and debris into Nepal, with estimated peak discharge approaching 16,000 m³/s. The Himalayas experienced enormous GLOFs long before today's atmospheric CO₂ concentrations.
If it happened naturally in the past, we should expect it to happen naturally again in the future—regardless of atmospheric CO₂.
Turning a horrific loss of life into an immediate climate-change narrative without demonstrating that CO₂ caused this particular event isn't attribution. It's opportunism.
And the people exploiting tragedy to do it are grifters.

This is basically declaring that politicians should be prostitutes who serve your interests, but nobody else’s.
It’s not merely believing the stripper loves you, it’s demanding she only be allowed to love you.
Capitalism attacks cronyism at its root: equality under the law and property rights mean government has no legitimate power to seize from A, subsidize B, protect C from competition, or hand D special privileges. The rich and poor get the same protection, not different political favors.
Once you replace that with a system where politicians may override private rights in the name of the “public,” “workers,” or “common good,” someone has to decide what those words mean, whose property gets taken, and who receives the benefits. Political influence becomes enormously valuable by design.
Lobbying then becomes inevitable, whether the currency is money, votes, connections, or ideological loyalty.
So you create a system built around political favoritism, watch groups compete to control the favors, and then blame “capitalism” for the entirely predictable consequence.
