What a stupid day today has been for Britain. Migrant home sec asks migrants about migration. Decides migration is fine and you can pay for it. Calls that fair because she’s a migrant or something. Descendants of freed slaves demand reparations from the descendants of the people who freed them. Usurper PM open to it. Because… vibes? Oh. And don’t forget to make sure you’ve got 3 days worth of bottled water and baked beans in case everything you’ve paid for stops working. Resilience something something. 👍

Mahmood said she made the changes after her ‘public consultation’. Today we learnt that just 1 in 5 people who responded to her ‘consultation’ were British citizens! They asked foreign nationals if foreign nationals should get faster settlement in our country. The Tories and Labour have perpetrated a huge SCAM on the British people. Reform will reverse this madness.

This is MIND BLOWING. This Labour Government is making migrant policy to suit the wishes of foreigners and not those of British citizens. This is a national outrage.

Andy Burnham thinks it’s “hard to say” whether immigration is too high. I’ll make it clear for him: it’s too high. The British people, time and time again, have made it clear for him: it’s too high. Public services are on the brink of collapse because Labour and the Tories imported over 9 MILLION people in just 10 years. Each GP now has nearly 200 more patients than in 2015. We’d need 3,000 more GPs just to get back to where we were. We have over 6 million people on waiting for hospital care, with 110,000 of them waiting over a year for treatment. A million young people are still without work, having to compete with half the world just to get a job. 1.3 million households are waiting for social housing. 1.5 million foreign nationals are receiving welfare, at a cost of £23 billion a year. And in the next few years, Labour is expected to add another million people. Burnham still can’t bring himself to say that’s too high. This is madness. And it is a betrayal. Reform will deliver net negative migration. We will deport every illegal migrant and abolish ILR. We will put the British people first.

Andy Burnham says, in a new Guardian opinion piece, that he is “open to” the “calls for a formal apology on behalf of the British state” for the transatlantic slave trade which began almost HALF A MILLENNIUM ago. This would be like someone in the year 2526 having to apologise for heinous acts conducted today. It is ridiculous. It goes without saying that the transatlantic slave trade was an awful part of global history. But it is also a part of history for which we have already atoned, multiple times over, as one of the world’s pioneers in abolishing the slave trade and indeed policing, through our West Africa Squadron and others – an endeavour that cost up to 2% of Britain’s GDP every year for decades to come. Now think about all the aid money we have supplied across the world since. Billions upon billions. And lest we forget the lives Britain has put on the line over the centuries since: our own people, who sacrificed everything, to keep the free world free. This is a time of year we remember those sacrifices instead of grovelling to anyone who demands it over something of which no Briton alive played any part. Yet Burnham is still “open” to making humiliating public pronouncements on Britain’s behalf. I say no. I say enough. One of the biggest problems we face today is that we are no longer a forward-looking nation. We only ever seem to lament our past, or condemn those who came before us. I cannot abide it any longer. Britain is exceptional. We are a moral force in the world. We have given so much, and sacrificed for centuries. It is now time to put the Britsh people first, instead of caving to every demand that we get on our knees.

These are the stats John Healey doesn’t want you to read: - By 2031 we’ll be spending £160bn/year on debt interest alone – up £36bn/year. - Borrowing forecasts for the next 5 years have risen £65bn since March. - Unemployment will rise to above 5% until 2027. The Employment Rights Act will “weigh on the labour market” - Government revenue will rise to 43% of GDP by 2031, driven by a record tax burden. - Households will be worse off in every single year of the five year forecast than they were in March. - It’ll take until 2029 to get back to 2019 levels of prosperity. - Growth will be anodyne. GDP per capita grows less than 1% in 2027. It’ll peak at less than 2% per year, despite the AI revolution. - The national debt will stay above 95% of GDP. We will be on a fiscal knife-edge. Britain is Broke. Britain needs Reform.

If HMRC are allowed to take money from individuals’ bank accounts, as proposed in the budget today, then we are heading to a dark place. This tool could be used against anyone deemed to be a threat by the government of the day.
🚨 NEW: John Healey is set to announce the following in his Budget later - The gas standing charge will be scrapped to save £27 a year on a typical bill - Green levies on energy bills will be scraped "for good" - NHS prescription charges will be frozen at £9.90 for another year - Poorer households on benefits will receive extra help with energy bills before January's sharp rises - The VAT cut on electricity bills, which was due to expire in April, will be extended (though it's not clear if this will be announced in the Budget or separately) - The Government will remove the link between gas and electricity prices, which currently inflates household bills, "in the long term" - Banks will face higher taxes, with the surcharge on their profits potentially rising from 3% to 8%, making it the Budget’s biggest revenue raiser - HMRC will be given powers to seize money from the bank accounts of people who fail to pay their tax - The freeze on rail fares will reportedly not be extended beyond April - Online retailers like Amazon, eBay and Temu will be made responsible for collecting unpaid VAT from sellers to fund a cut in business rates for high street shops - The thresholds for income tax will be frozen again so another half a million people may be dragged into the higher rate - January's planned increase in fuel duty will be cancelled - Pensioners relying solely on the state pension will see their tax-free allowance rise to £13,036, in line with the pension increase, so they don't pay income tax - Billions in long-term borrowing to invest in defence firms and raise the share of GDP spent on defence (without breaking fiscal rules, as the investments are expected to generate returns) - The upcoming "Your First Home" scheme will be made more generous to provide greater support for middle-income earners - The Budget will also assume the Rosebank oil field is approved, which will generate "significant tax revenues"

STATEMENT I am aware that ITV infiltrated the Portsmouth Reform UK branch for their undercover report. I am featured in their documentary. Not in a bad way, in my opinion, but still featured. I’ll get to that in a minute…. What I am more shocked and disgusted in is that I now know who the two reporters were whom infiltrated us. These two men campaigned with us in March/April in Portsmouth and it leads me to wonder whether their interference in an election is a potential criminal offence. We have no way to know whether they posted flyers they were meant to. Or whether they gave us correct door knocking information. They campaigned in four seats specifically where, in 3, we lost by a small number of votes. Their involvement would have had an impact on the result. By default ITV could have literally paid reporters to ruin an election result for Reform UK candidates. That has to be criminal. On a personal level I allowed these men in my home. I made them drinks. They met my dogs. It’s an entirely disgusting invasion of personal privacy. I have photos of these men and know who they are - I will not disclose them at this stage but may in the future once I’ve gotten advice In relation to my involvement with the documentary I remain firm in everything I personally said. I was never a member of the Portsmouth Patriots, as the documentary states, but I have supported their movement over the years from the sidelines. The executive team who run them are good people. Yes outside third parties have come in and done some abhorrent things. Those people should be condemned. But the local group themselves are decent, passionate, local residents who care deeply about their community. I’m appalled by ITV and hope they are held to account for their potential criminal behaviour and election interference. The two reporters involved in infiltrating Portsmouth I hope are held to account for their personal actions in the outcome of elections. The money, resources and time spent by companies and individuals to damage Reform UK are unprecedented in our political system - you have to ask yourself why?
