This is devastating. No one brightened up a day at the rink like Troy. I'll miss his stories, his mischievous smile, his throwing of popcorn at us whenever his booth was behind us in the press box. Truly one of the all-time good guys. Peace and love to his family.
We’ll miss you, “Muzz” ❤️
From all of us here at the Blackhawks, we extend our deepest condolences to Troy’s family and friends, our alumni and the many fans who loved him dearly

If there was one video I would want you to watch it would be this one from @IAmPoliticsGirl
She did the right thing by waiting until facts were available on which to create a clip that provides the truth. Because the truth really does matter.

On January 27th we said “until we meet again” to long time official (pic right) James Sharun. He was a long standing official, instructor and mentor to many across the province. Though he may be no longer with us, his spirit and passion for the game will carry on.

Another well deserved commitment for the Captain of our team. He’s been a absolute beast on the back end all season long and this was just a formality with how well he’s been playing. Congrats Ach 🚨
COMMITMENT ALERT!
We are proud to announce third year defenceman and Saints captain Logan Acheson has committed to the Bemidji State Beavers!
Join us in congratulating Logan and his family on his commitment.

Yea, huge thanks to all the referees who are volunteering this week. Due to covid, many are working extra games to cover gaps. My 66 year-old dad reffed 5 games yesterday. Tournament isn’t possible without them.
STRIPES APPRECIATION POST 🦓 To all of our refs, we truly appreciate your time and talents you are sharing with us during #QEMHW. 🖤 You da real MVPs. 🤜🏼🤛🏽
Shout out to @mcdonaldscanada for providing a McPicks meal after each game our refs participate in.

Many have heard that schools in different parts of #StAlbert are in lockdown. It is a precautionary measure, and not related to the schools… Multiple carjackings with firearm in the area… 2 in custody and 1 outstanding.
The schools and children are not at risk.
