(it just heavily depends on a DM being willing to play along in dnd compared to other systems)

Yeah imo that's a pretty fundamental flaw of dnd, and is why personally I prefer to play a lot of other games that have more explicit options for that kind of thing. (Though, I don't totally agree, player choices both in character and as the player absolutely can tell story)

I mean I think I see what you mean that there are often overarching puzzles for them to solve that feel similar to the elements of an escape room, but I do think that in sleeping city does a better job at revolving a lot more around player choice

I mean, I'm not a puppygirl, tbc, but not the point. Ultimately, people don't really exist in archetypes, what matters is noticing patterns of behavior not "kinds of people", and when we confuse one for the other is when shit gets fucked up

Imo unsleeping city clears, but I do enjoy fantasy high quite a bit

im so out of patience for parents or figures of authority "struggling" in any capacity with people around them transitioning. get over yourself! dont wanna watch someone close to you transition? gouge out your eyes!

Thats fucking real as fuuuuuuck I need to be in like 5 places at once sometimes
It's so sad how in the start of Shuukura Miyagi is like 'Sendai's parents don't mind if she's home late, shows how they trusted her' and not realising they don't even greet her when she comes home. I like how dual POV stories show how little we can truly understand someone
girl who’s begun to self actualise vs girl who’s been ground down by a world who hates her unconditionally
with experience doesn’t necessarily come wisdom

as is good practice when it comes to people on the internet talking about relationships, mentally replace these vauge groups with "my ex" and everything clicks into place.

Yeah I just don't think talking about specific bad trans relationships are ever good reasons to generalize about trans relationships 😭

Right there's no value judgement at all in "immature and self othering" lmfao

Do you read the things you say when you write them? Do you understand how "we do things differently and that's okay" is directly contradicted by "you do bad weird thing and I don't" lmao. You keep doing this.

The deep south do be sucking to be a trans woman, my apologies

Idk, I date several dogs but none of them have any issues with house chores so I think maybe it's best to avoid generalizing specific experiences to broad groups of people
Replying to @Lifeonwheels95 @ShellTerminal
Lmao girl I don't think that choosing not to take that (pretty substantive) risk and preferring to engage in shared experience and community in your dating life is shutting yourself off from the world or close minded but okay
Replying to @Lifeonwheels95 @ShellTerminal
I mean yes I would 100% understand that decision from you in not wanting to face that risk

I mean except that I am absolutely more likely to experience transphobia and transmisogyny from a partner (or person in general) who isn't TMA than I am from one who is
