I am proud to have joined over 50 of my colleagues to urge DHS to protect due process for Ukrainian Temporary Protected Status holders.
Ukrainians to whom we granted refuge when they fled the war deserve a fair day in court, access to legal counsel and the opportunity to contribute to our welfare and theirs in the United States without fear of arrest.
We must stand with the Ukrainian people.
I’m leading a letter with over 50 of my colleagues demanding that DHS protect the due process rights of Ukrainian Temporary Protected Status holders.
The Administration must formally re-designate Ukraine for TPS to extend this eligibility and allow Ukrainians who have fled war to receive protections here in the United States.

There's a reason our Founding Fathers created checks and balances: to prevent one branch of government from holding absolute power.
Yet Congressional Republicans seem eager to hand off Congress's power to Trump.
The vandalism of the Newport veterans memorial dishonors the sacrifices of those who served our country. If you have any information please contact the Newport Police.

While the temporary extension of deportation protections for Ukrainians is an important step, I’ve joined colleagues in urging the redesignation TPS for Ukraine. We must extend eligibility to allow those fleeing Putin’s war of aggression to rebuild their lives.

The future of Ukrainian refugees in Chicago is in limbo. Over 100,000 are worried they could be sent back into a war zone.
That’s why I’m leading a letter with @RepValHoyle and @RepBrianFitz , to ensure Ukrainians with Temporary Protected Status can attend their immigration hearings and interviews safely.
If you have questions about TPS, my office can help. Visit quigley.house.gov/help to get started.

🔥 #OnThisDay in #FireHistory, we celebrate the anniversary of the 1873 founding of the @IAFC.
A frequent collaborator with the #IAFF, the IAFC provides a forum for fire and emergency service chiefs to exchange ideas and improve their profession.
I was honored to join Lieutenant Colonel David Gauntlett at the formal pinning for his Bronze Star with a V.
Due to lost paperwork, this medal was long overdue and I’m glad that my team was able to help make this happen. Lieutenant Colonel Gauntlett's bravery in Vietnam saved lives, and in over 50 years of service to the military, he demonstrated great courage and patriotism.

On World Menopause Day we are reminded to keep fighting for accessible, quality women’s healthcare. Perimenopause and menopause are natural stages of life experienced by millions of women every year but are severely overlooked and under researched.
That’s why I’m working alongside the @DemWomenCaucus to address the ongoing estrogen patch shortage and increase funding for research on women’s health.

Tonight, we all stand with Bend. In the worst of times, we can be our best to one another.
The Trump administration's decision to take away chairs from TSA officers is ridiculous. I joined my colleagues in calling on TSA Administrator Cummins to immediately reverse this decision.
We will not be any safer if people are sitting or standing during their shift. Our hardworking TSA agents deserve better, and that means respect on the job and reasonable working conditions. hoyle.house.gov/imo/media/do…
