We’ve got Ukrainian grunts that spend legitimately 8+ months in position on the zero line with no support and dudes still have the nerve to think we want to hear BUD/S stories on a podcast lmao

How this works is that we're either going to pass BAAJA now, or we're not going to get anything. Jared knows this, but he's in the pocket of groups who make money off enviro lawsuits and prefers nothing be done. He's not trying to improve the bill, he's trying to kill it.

Dario Amodei: A lot of AI generated videos and images are fake, addictive, and just slop. Anthropic isn't interested in competing in that market.
“Google and OpenAI are fighting it out in consumer. It's existential to both of them.”
“It's existential to OpenAI because that's their whole business. Existential to Google because they have the search business.”
“For enterprise business, there's not really a demand for cats riding donkeys or whatever consumer video people want.”
“If we ever need it, we can just contract a model from someone else.”
“A lot of short-form video is fake, a lot of it's pretty addictive, a lot of it's slop.”
“It's not a part of the market that I'm tripping over myself to get involved in.”

I can confidently say that humans were not very good at writing secure infrastructure. The endstate will be hypersecure infrastructure and software for all, but we're going to go through some turbulence before we reach that.

So this happened
From the Puget Sound in Washington to the southern tip of Texas, Democrats control all House seats
The edges of the West, if you will

Worth noting that after all the rhetoric about securing the border... it's entirely blue. Not a single congressional district on the border voted for a Republican. Only Ted Cruz represents the GOP along the entire southern line. 😂🤣😈
I find the “patch the planet” initiative quite inspiring. openai and others are spending huge sums of money on updating and securing all modern open source software infrastructure. it will be a continual effort to make the world more robust
This is the "upcoming cyber model" from yesterday. Besides 948 Linux vulns, it found 111 renderer RCEs in Firefox, among which, 81 were novel. 30 were exploits for bugs known to developers that were thought to be unexploitable.
We are using this technology to scan more OSS projects and secure the Internet infrastructure.
This is just a start.
