Just so you know @MicrosoftUK and @xboxuk I #hate you soooo much right now. All I want to do is play #ForzaHorizon6 and change the decals of my car but OH NO my Privacy and Online Safety settings need to be changed. TO WHAT??? They're all enabled so what now?? Bloody Useless.

On the workbench today we have a Hue Visualiser. The slightest touch & it disconnects from the PC. Due to wear & tear over the years the solder joints on the USB port had become cracked/dry jointed so it needed a quick re-flow of the solder :) #RepairNotReplace #ElectronicsRepair

My 'untested' IBM #ThinkPad R31 from #eBay turned up so time to see if it boots and I get no display on the screen and on my parallel port #POSTcard I get error code 70 so time to look it up and find out what it means...

LOL it means the actual error message is on the screen of which I have no display!! External VGA monitor is not showing anything either but I think there is a setting in the BIOS that you have to enable for that to work so clearly I have a faulty screen!!

Due to it's age I shall guess the error message is saying something about the Date/Time being incorrect due to the CMOS battery being depleted.
