Finally getting around to repairing my #Compaq #Contura 4/25 laptop that has a broken hinge & #MagicSmoke came out of it when I tested it last year!
I think this 'little rascal' is to blame for the magic smoke so now awaiting parts to attempt a #repair

Just so you know @MicrosoftUK and @xboxuk I #hate you soooo much right now. All I want to do is play #ForzaHorizon6 and change the decals of my car but OH NO my Privacy and Online Safety settings need to be changed. TO WHAT??? They're all enabled so what now?? Bloody Useless.
If you buy things from @gear4music in the #UK expect #USA kit to arrive 'next business day' 3-5 days late and then to get promises broken and £2,460 worth of speakers that are just paperweights. Then they will blacklist your phone so they can ignore you! #mickeymouse

On the workbench today we have a Hue Visualiser. The slightest touch & it disconnects from the PC. Due to wear & tear over the years the solder joints on the USB port had become cracked/dry jointed so it needed a quick re-flow of the solder :) #RepairNotReplace #ElectronicsRepair
