Your habits shape your days.
Your days shape your future.
Bad habits create struggle.
Good habits create strength.
Start small. Stay consistent.
Build what builds you.

Today, we remember the beautiful witness of St. Monica who tenaciously prayed for years for her family’s conversion.
We’ve all been there: years and years of prayers that seem to bear no fruit.
The example of St Monica is a challenge and reminder that our job is to pray, to never give up hope and to trust that He who hears our prayers loves us and all involved with a purity & intensity we will never understand.
So we pray.
We pound at Heaven‘s door.
We not give up.
We trust that he who ordered the universe in all of its harmony and beauty will order all things well.
We pray, we hope, we trust, we submit.

Firmly rooted in the Word of Jesus, reading the Gospel every day, never stop dreaming of a land where there is peace and fraternity, nor stop looking at the world with wonder, nor stop facing the future with the light of hope. Do not let anything or anyone steal your hope.

MENTAL TOUGHNESS is not something we’re born with.
It’s a SKILL we develop (and strengthen), every time we face trials, and decide to be VICTORS instead of victims!

School should be a place kids want to go, a place staff want to be, and a place families trust and are proud to send their kids.

The standard. The scorer. The champion.

A national champion, Final Four MOP, Big Ten Player of the Year, and owner of NCAA Tournament records that still stand today.
