Uganda is helping the world hunt down polio before it reaches more children. At the Uganda Virus Research Institute (UVRI), scientists examine samples to help detect the poliovirus and alert health teams to potential outbreaks across the region. That means work happening here in Uganda can help protect children far beyond our borders. As Rotarians, we must turn this progress into a movement. Champion vaccination, mobilise communities and support End Polio Now. Every child vaccinated brings us closer to a world where no family fears this disease. Uganda is playing its part. Rotary, let us finish the fight! Together, we can make polio history. #RotaryEyamba #RotaryKonyo #EndPolioNow

3/3 But 100 days is not the end. It is proof that this journey is possible. As we begin the next chapter, my call is simple: “𝙇𝙚𝙩 𝙪𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩 𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙪𝙨 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙨.” Take @Rotary beyond our meeting places and into our communities. Let us give meaning to every day, because somewhere, a life is affected by the service we choose to give. Together, let us move from intent to impact. #RotaryEyamba #RotaryKonyo

𝟏/𝟑 🧵 | 𝟏𝟎𝟎 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 Somewhere, someone is waiting for @Rotary to show up. Someone needs clean water, medical care, a chance to learn, or simply to know they have not been forgotten. “𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙠 𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙚.” That is the promise we renew every 1st of July. We stand with those who need us, through early mornings, late night calls and service where others might walk away. At Silver Springs and online , we gathered to account for what that promise has set in motion in our first 100 days. Here is our story. #RotaryEyamba #RotaryKonyo
