In what way does this prove that? We had an amendment written with a proposer, seconder & speakers ready to go. Sadly, because your boys ran away we couldn’t table it. Come on Stephen, surely you’ve got better things to be doing than defending the indefensible on Twitter.
I’m afraid @RowanRee cannot claim @HFLabour were always going to debate @HFConsCllrs motion. Here’s the video evidence showing them withdrawing all their speakers! 👇

No we didn’t. We had speakers on all the motions & had councillors ready to discuss yours, but couldnt because you ran away. What is pathetic is that you can’t turn up to do the job you’ve been elected to do Again, I spoke at length about this at the meeting & you said nothing
When we walked out, you panicked. You suddenly withdrew almost all your remaining speakers in a desperate attempt to rush through the agenda. You think it’s clever. It’s actually pathetic. And takes residents for fools.

Filibuster? If you’d stuck around to hear the speeches you wouldn’t be saying that. That’s pretty appalling. I spoke at length about the council’s finances, and you all sat in silence. You’ve been given so many opportunities to speak about this, but you have nothing to say.
You lined up speakers to filibuster our motion, then voted against debating it. Meanwhile, a Lab Cllr mocked our colleagues’ parliamentary ambitions during the Housing motion, revealing his priorities. Rather ironic, given you and Cllr Cowan both tried and failed to become MPs.

Liam, the meeting finished half an hour early. There was plenty of time to debate your motion, but you lot just wanted to get to the pub. What is SHAMEFUL is that you have no interest in SEND provision, VAWG, or veterans services. The people who elected you deserve better.
Labour refused to debate our motion on their plans to double council tax. THAT is why we walked out. Just like he hid the state of our public finances, Cllr Ree is playing fast and loose with the truth. Disgracefully he’s using veterans this time. SHAMEFUL.

On Trafalgar Day, of all days, the Hammersmith & Fulham Tory councillors left a meeting early rather than discussing services for veterans.

Here's an extract from my new book Betrayal, about how Russian spies infiltrated Nigel Farage's party. It tells the inside story of Nathan Gill, a former UKIP MEP, now in jail, who accepted £££ in bribes to make pro-Russian speeches. Thanks @thenerve_news thenerve.news/p/luke-harding…

Today I’m announcing a major investment in our nuclear deterrent, supporting 22,000 apprenticeships. Keeping this country safe is the first responsibility of any government - but security isn’t just about what we build, it’s about who builds it. The submarines produced in Barrow protect us all, the jobs and apprenticeships they create change lives. This is Britain - reindustrialised.
