Congrats to the Brewers, but Misiorowski is everything wrong with pitching today - can't go 6 innings because you have to throw 100mph every damn pitch. Smoltz had a teammate that could throw a complete game on 89 pitches, I think he knows what he's talking about.

John Smoltz continues to criticize Jacob Misiorowski because he can’t fathom the idea of someone being better than he ever was in just their second year of Major League Baseball. He’s a deeply insecure man who can’t accept that someone is succeeding in a way that challenges his conventional ideas about pitching. There is no analysis from Smoltz anymore, and there hasn’t been in a long time. It’s just projections from a grumpy old man yelling at clouds.
