People accept a villain more than they accept a flawed hero

I can read 400k-word fanfics in a week. Writing those 400k words could take an author a year, considering all their other life responsibilities. It takes me 3 or 4 chapters to decide if I like something or not. If I don't, I stop reading without wasting a single hour of my life
If you feel that fanfiction authors are wasting your time with writing you don't enjoy, that's your prerogative. There is a difference between debating criticism and blaming your problems on people who don't know you, who aren't forcing anything on you, or asking anything of you

what's with ppl recently and their obsession with wanting to bully tf out of fic writers and then playing victim when they receive an ounce of pushback cuz ppl don't like, y'know, being bullied unprovoked by internet strangers

Yall are too online. Arcane is one of the highest rated shows of all time has multiple Annie awards and Emmys if you went outside and asked for opinions on Arcane they'd be overwhelmingly positive. Like I'm sorry but the video essays yall get your opinions from mean nothing 💀

quick question: how long do you think it took for the writer to create that fic?
i'll give you a clue: it's WAY LONGER than the time you "wasted" reading it before dropping it for disliking their plot decisions
