This year the Government issued an overdue apology for forced adoption.
They have now advised women shouldn’t have to go to court the same day they give birth to fight for their babies.
So why then do you permit surrogacy @DHSCgovuk?

I don't want to shame any particular woman here, but publicly announcing that the #RussellBrand conviction must be wrong because you went home with him and he didn't rape you makes about as much sense as saying 'well, I left 25 Cromwell Street alive, so Fred West's innocent.'

Let’s wait and see what tsunami of other allegations follow. Those women deserve a medal:

I think the #JohnLewisChristmas ad in 20 years time should revisit this family as granny’s will is being read out. And she’s left the lot to a donkey sanctuary.
Karma, you materialistic little sods.

Pumpkins:
Halloween is one night.
Tonight.
If you have to waste a food item (and I strongly suggest you don't), please put it out for that one night, then safely dispose of it.
Please DO NOT put it out for the wildlife.
Once you've handled it, cut it, left it out in the open, unrefrigerated, it will not be hygienic or safe for anyone to eat.
Pumpkins are a low-acid vegetable, so once they are cut and left at room temperature, pathogens will rapidly grow on the flesh, producing mould spores.
Our precious wildlife do not have any magical properties that protect them against food poisoning.
Additionally, this time of year there are baby hedgehogs around, born too late to find natural food, desperate to eat anything to stop the pain of starvation.
Pumpkin has a laxative affect so it would be particularly cruel to leave it out for starving wildlife to eat in desperation, causing them to lose precious fluids that may make the difference between life and death.
So no matter what you read elsewhere, please DO NOT put your discarded decoration out for the birds or any other wildlife.
Please DO NOT compost them either, as a composting pumpkin can produce highly toxic tremorgenic mycotoxins, which will be deadly if the compost bin is not properly secured and is accessible to wildlife (or pets).
Many hedgehogs, seeking the warmth of a compost bin, die this way every year.
Once you've used the pumpkin as decoration it's waste, fit only for the bin.
Please help get this vital message spread far and wide, to save precious lives and prevent suffering.

If “bringing your whole self to work” involves strapping on enormous, fake, ‘comedy’ breasts, a strap-on cock & balls or two silicone buttocks outside your trousers, might I suggest you don’t?
Your freedom to “express yourself” does not supersede a student’s right to a serious & focused education, especially if you object, YOU become “a bigot”.
Absolutely absurd situation.
Go nuts in a nightclub, ffs.

Hey, so your dog being uncomfortable in a bat costume this Halloween isn't worth the very mediocre Instagram photo 😌
Instead of forcing your dog to wear a costume could be quite uncomfortable for them, why not pick out a spooky bandana or themed collar? 👻

Still 0 enquiries for this handsome lad. No calls, no emails, no messages.
We really cannot understand why. 😢 😢 😢 😢 😭
We try to help these animals into new homes through no fault of their own and sometimes it becomes impossible.
Please share if you can see this.
This handsome lad is still waiting for a new home.
Teddy is a 5 year old male Mastiff mix - he is available and looking for a new home.
He eats Ava sensitive skin and stomach mix from Pets at Home.
Teddy is good in the car but only use to short journeys.
He sleeps in the kitchen at night but would sometimes also sleep in his owners bed.
He is registered with the vets and can be left on his own if you need to go out.
Teddy is a big boy, he may knock small kids over, so he would suit a home with older dog savvy kids 10+.
He loves people and is good once he gets a clap, but he is wary of men wearing hats.
Teddy walks well on the lead and he use to go walking with a dog walker and was fine.
Teddy loves a ball rope, he likes to chew on the rope until it's untied.
He likes treats.
There isn't much that Teddy doesn't like, however he doesn't like the sound of metal/shutter noise as he got a fright when he was a puppy.
Teddy loves lying in bed under the covers. He would be best in a home with no other pets or cats.
He isn't really fussed by other dogs when he is out walking.
Teddy knows basic commands.
For more information or to offer Teddy a new home please email [email protected]
Sorry we are unable to accept messages to the page regarding pets for rehoming, please email the address above.

Slavery is a serious problem. Almost 50 million people are enslaved across the world today, creating illicit profits worth about $236bn a year. Some exist in a state of domestic servitude in the Gulf Arab states, while others labour in the mines of Africa and Asia.
In Mauritania and parts of the Sahel, you will find whole families trapped in “hereditary slavery”, where bondage is passed down the generations. In Libya, journalists have filmed actual slave markets, at which men were seen being auctioned for $400. (“Does anybody need a digger?” one slaver bellowed. “This is a digger, a big strong man, he’ll dig.”)
These are moral outrages, about which people of conscience might usefully campaign. How strange, then, that anti-slavery activists prefer to concentrate their energies on the trafficking of about three million Africans by the British Empire between the 1560s and the 19th century. And how revealing...
