Yesterday I lost my Dad.
I wasn’t sure if I was going to post on here about it. I try to leave this page to just Sports chatter, but when he found out I run this page back when I was in high school he thought it was so neat.
He was everything a son could ask for. He worked his ass off to provide for my family and all he got back in return was to get his ass kicked by cancer.
Since this is a sports page, I’ll leave the small chatter to just sports. That ‘22 Phillies will always give me chills because it was basically a month after he got diagnosed, it was a rough month, the chemo was agreeing with him that he got put on initially, I didn’t think he had much time because I never got to witness something like this first hand. That run though we were just able to watch basically every game together. He called the Harper Swing of His Life/Bedlam At the Back before it happened. When Bryce came up he just said “I feel it. He’s going to do it.” and the next swing… boom. I started just tearing up on the couch next to him knowing how big of a moment that was that I just had together.
Little did I know I would still get four more years with him to make moments with, like two more Super Bowl appearances and one victory in those same seats in the living.
My Dad was my hero and role model. He impacted so many people throughout his life and he was everything and more a son could possibly ask for. Love you Dad❤️

Not even in the same league as this team. Respect to the Bears. They showed us who we are early this season. Not sure what you do to change that bc it’s the same bullshit as usual and nobody’s getting an excuse. Can’t fire anyone or trade for anyone.
