Kenyatta routinely swore to “swaga Jaramogi and Luos kama unga” and often described what he purportedly did to Ngina in bed. Daniel Toritich Moi was equally vulgar, violent and threatening on public podiums. The statement“mavi ya kuku” was elevated from village dens to the sanctum of State House and public discourse by none other than the fake gentleman called Mwai Kibaki. Despot Uhuru Kenyatta’s public threats and vulgarities, including against members of the judiciary, is well documented. So are @realDonaldTrump’s daily childish rants, racist threats and vulgarities. So, stop pretending that @WilliamsRuto is doing something new. As much as Ruto has failed in many things, I don’t believe his lexicon has degenerated to the levels of his predecessors. Even your newly minted hero, Raila Odinga, often publicly abused our innocent mothers’ private parts unprovoked. We must critique truthfully and with integrity.
