Hong Kong pro-democracy activist Joshua Wong's sentencing for conspiring to collude with foreign forces - his second conviction under the Beijing-imposed national security law - is set to take place at the High Court at 9.30am on Thursday.
Around 50 people lined up outside the courthouse for public seats in the morning under the watch of about a dozen police officers. The first few in the line have queued since Tuesday, according to court goers.
"We need to let him [Wong] know that many of us are still here," said retiree Margaret Chan, the second in the line. "Many people would like to come but they may have to work, or have to take care of their families. So people like us who have time must show up."

Hong Kong democracy activist Joshua Wong has been sentenced to 10 years in prison on baseless national security charges.
Wong has been in custody since November 2020, when he was 23, and faces imprisonment until late 2036, when he will be 40.
To keep Hong Kong society subdued, the government appears to have adopted the tactic of stacking charges against influential pro-democracy leaders to ensure their prolonged detention.

The Supreme Court destroyed the Voters Right Act of the Civil Rights movement and Black folks answered the clarion call to fight back because there is BLOOD ON THAT BALLOT BOX.
