Great to present to @dgcouncil operations team with @galloway_mrt and @SARAAScotland. Showing the teams capabilities to help in snow and flood response. Don't forget #charitychallenge on 12 June in the Moffat Hills.

Plan your route before you head on your hike 🗺️
Pack a map and have someone in your party who can navigate. Mobile phones may be unreliable and signal may come and go 📶

ALT Three mountain rescue officers practice rescues. Two officers are submerged in snow on a hillside as one digs them out.

Drone Pilot of the Day goes out to the @SARAAScotland team. They recently received an anonymous donation and used it to add the Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced & Immersive Goggles to their fleet. Good luck team 🙌

Sunday - Fairly cloudy across the mountains with the legacy of Saturday's rain leaving fairly damp conditions with early drizzle, later scattered showers, and banks of cloud at varying heights across the hills. However, bases slowly lifting with best breaks in south and west.

Delighted and very grateful to the @Alpkit Foundation who are generously donating towards a new #drone for us - thank you! Without amazing support such as this we would not be able to increase our #mountainrescue capability across #Scotland. @ScottishMR

When we call 999 we might be having one of the worst days of our lives - but the call handler is truly trying to help and can’t see what we see - they need to ask questions to get us the right help as quickly as possible. Please see below👇 #staysafestaywell @LifelinesScot
An important message from Jodie, one of our brilliant ACC staff members.

Remember, whether you're on the wide Cairngorm plateau or the pointy hills out west, losing height quickly isn't always easy, so watch the forecast and developing conditions for lightning. Don't leave a retreat to the last minute. mountaineering.scot/safety-a…

Really difficult conditions this evening to see anything looking into the bright sun. Switch to the thermal camera = hello deer herd! Every flight has been different learning for our pilots with the @DJIEnterprise Mavic Advanced but what a great capability to trial. @ScottishMR

Fantastic day training alongside @sardasearchdogs today learning about each other's capabilities and limitations, enjoying being out in big mountains and trialing new @DJIEnterprise equipment whilst also developing our own search tactics to help #SaveLives. #dronesforgood

Just seeing how a swimmer presents in thermal image on the Mavic 2 EA. Swimmer was rigged as Rescuer. No visibility of arms/legs. Swimmer in normal clothes presented no different. Good to know in advance that a swimmer won't look like a swimmer! #dronesforgood @DJIEnterprise
