Takeaways from the #Commanders during the bye week:
- Offense: pre snap woes, OL issues, awful clock management, new system hiccups
- Defense: Two bright spots at CB & LB, edge rush struggles, inconsistent calls
- 2 trade deadline wishes

ALT Graphic featuring Sonny Styles. It says "6,963 yards traveled | 6th among LBs."
The no brainer trade the #Commanders should make before the deadline — LG Quenton Nelson.
- 30 years old
- 3x 1st team & 3x 2nd team All-Pro
- 89.2 Overall PFF Grade ‘26 (1st)
- pairing with Sam Cosmi would make the best guard duo in the NFL
- 3rd or a 3rd + late round likely gets it done

The discourse I’m seeing surrounding Jayden Daniels on this app is outrageous, so here are the facts.
Jayden Daniels on Monday night:
• 29/40 passing
• 300 yards
• 2 touchdowns
• 0 turnovers
• 110.4 passer rating
He’s now gone 116 pass attempts without a turnover this season.
The uncomfortable truth for a lot of you is that when Jayden Daniels is on the field, he’s better than your favorite QB.
Washington needs to do everything in its power to get this man a legitimate offensive mind on the coaching staff and surround him with real talent.
He’s a superstar.
Jayden Daniels with a dot to Stefon Diggs, great ball with pressure in his face.
The #1 drive killer for this offense has been bonehead penalties — including 3 TDs called back in critical moments.
The #Commanders offense needs to put together a clean game after the bye.

Jayden Daniels has, BY FAR, the shortest amount of time before the pocket collapses in the entire NFL.
League average is 2.3 seconds.
The #Commanders give Daniels 1.5 seconds.
It is a huge issue that is holding the offense back.

Did a bit of a deep dive on Jayden Daniels stats after his impressive second half in San Fran.
Jayden Daniels has played in 31 games (including 3 playoff games) in his career. That doesn’t even come out to 2 full seasons.
Jayden Daniels career stats (including playoffs):
6,411 passing yards
43 touchdowns, 13 interceptions
66.3 completion percentage
266 carries, 1,517 rushing yards
11 rushing touchdowns
Jayden Daniels stats since beginning of 2025 season (11 games, some of which he was playing injured and did not finish):
2,021 passing yards
11 touchdowns, 3 interceptions
62.2 completion percentage
83 carries, 491 rushing yards
4 rushing touchdowns
Stats don’t lie. Jayden Daniels is an elite NFL QB talent. You can point to on field errors the last couple of weeks and injury concerns, but at the end of the day Jayden Daniels represents the Commanders best path to a Super Bowl and the team should figure out whatever the best way to put him in the position to succeed is, because if he succeeds the franchise will.
I thought Jayden Daniels had a really solid game, but for some reason he keeps missing Antonio Williams wide open.
Maybe lack of confidence in the #Commanders OL to let the play develop.
Missed out on a couple downfield throws but that can be cleaned up — have to capitalize on these plays.

Another confusing route tree by David Blough at the end of the game. This play never had a chance.
All #Commanders receivers running downfield and not working the middle of the field.
There would have been plenty of time to clock it after.
#RaiseHail
David Blough what is this route tree on 3rd and 8? 3 receivers bunched together.
#Commanders keep killing themselves these with penalties and the 49ers are having their way.

@SC_Commanderr noted how the #Commanders have struggled defending TEs so far in 2026
George Kittle served as the biggest challenge yet, and the Niners cap off the opening series by finding the TE for an 11 yard TD
Niners lead, 7-0, with 10:53 left in 1Q
What are the three concerning matchups for the #Commanders in the MNF matchup vs. San Fran? Is there one Niner to watch?

Gameday! Week 6 #Commanders @ 49ers Monday Night Football:
- Trey Amos is FINALLY back, could be a huge boost for the secondary
- Jordan Magee is back and that speed will help on both special teams & defense
- San Francisco hasn’t faced a dual threat QB this year, Jayden Daniels could have another big game on the ground
- Bill is out, heavy dose of Rachaad White & Austin Ekeler
- Big ask for safeties and linebackers to cover Kittle in the middle and McCaffrey out of the backfield, can make or break this game
- no word yet on Nick Cross, need the rosters best safety back🤞

Three areas to watch for the #Commanders to beat the 49ers Monday night:
- slow down Kittle — Washington is one of the worst against TE’s
- mental breakdowns — pre-snap penalties, clock management
- defense can’t fall apart in the 4th
