ICE agents detained three immigrants from Mexico, Honduras, and El Salvador in the Bay Area within the past week, federal officials confirmed to KRON4.
One man arrested in Oakland, Edgar Fernando Guerrero Romo of Mexico, had a record for DUI arrests, officials said. Another man arrested in SF had a manslaughter conviction.
An ICE spokesperson doubled-down on messages from President Trump’s administration, demanding that undocumented immigrants “self-deport” or face arrest.

The FBI arrested a 17-year-old in McKinney, Texas, over an ISIS-inspired plot to assassinate Republican Congressman Keith Self and carry out a terrorist attack in North Texas.
The suspect was arrested after acquiring a firearm.
Self is a vocal critic of Sharia law and Islamic extremism. He co-founded the “Sharia-Free America Caucus”

#ElCentroSector agents identified a Guatemalan national wanted in #Guatemala for aggravated rape of a minor. Records indicated that he illegally reentered the United States after being removed in 2015.
Agents obtained the warrant and shared the fugitive's information with law enforcement partners. Days later, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol stopped him for speeding, and a records check identified the active warrant. He was taken into custody and turned over to ICE/ERO for removal proceedings.

ALERT: Semi-truck driver kicks out the windshield and jumps to safety after crashing off a freeway and dangling over the almost 30-foot edge.
The moving truck was headed north on Interstate 5 in San Diego near the airport when it collided with a car and crashed through the freeway's concrete barrier.
The truck then became suspended over a steep drop-off to the road below.
Police and bystanders held out a blanket, and the man in the truck kicked out the windshield and jumped to safety.
The 2 men in the truck refused medical treatment, and the 4 people in the other car involved have been released from the hospital.

Paul Mauro says that during arrests, he'd regularly find rubber-banded bundles of 10 or 12 EBT cards, all in different names.
His explanation of the scam is infuriating. Per Mauro, some bodegas charge $100 to an EBT card, hand back $50 in cash, and keep the other $50. No food ever changes hands.
Mauro: "No cop in New York City will go very long without the story I just told."
The federal government funds it, and New York City runs it. That's the whole problem.
