The American College of Pediatricians just put out a 🔥🔥🔥 statement calling out all the major medical associations by name for pushing the gender transition craze on kids.
They ask for these groups to "IMMEDIATELY stop the promotion of social affirmation, puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgeries for children and adolescents who experience distress over their biological sex."

"Therefore, given the recent research and the revelations of the harmful approach advocated by WPATH and its followers in the United States, we, the undersigned, call upon the medical professional organizations of the United States, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Endocrine Society, the Pediatric Endocrine Society, American Medical Association, the American Psychological Association, and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to follow the science and their European professional colleagues and immediately stop the promotion of social affirmation, puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgeries for children and adolescents who experience distress over their biological sex. Instead, these organizations should recommend comprehensive evaluations and therapies aimed at identifying and addressing underlying psychological co-morbidities and neurodiversity that often predispose to and accompany gender dysphoria. We also encourage the physicians who are members of these professional organizations to contact their leadership and urge them to adhere to the evidence-based research now available.”

Victor Davis Hanson just rejected JD Vance’s claim that the Iran war cost Republicans the midterms.
“It’s not the war.”
Now, he says President Trump needs to hit Iran “very, very hard.”
“Pickaxe Mountain.”
“For two or three weeks.”
Hanson is convinced that Trump “did the impossible” in the beginning of the Iran war, “but they didn’t explain it.”
“They didn’t say to the American people, 7 presidents said you can’t let them get a nuclear weapon.”
“They’re closer than ever before.”
“This is an existential threat.”
“When the war broke out, he had over 50% approval.”
“And they had a spectacular success for the first 38 days.”
“There were mistakes, but the biggest problem was we had almost won.”
“Then once they stopped in 38 [days], they were not quite done yet.”
“They hadn’t prepared for the Hormuz.”
Then, he says they failed by letting negotiations drag on for months on end.
“We still have eight months before the midterm.”

“They got into a haggling with people who don’t tell the truth and have no intention to negotiate.”
And now, he says Iran’s leaders are celebrating.

The real battleground is still education.
They’ve always treated schools as recruitment centers. “The motor force of revolution is education.” That hasn’t changed. Curriculum, social transition policies, DEI trainings, books, sports, and bathrooms are where they try to shape the next generation away from parents.
What the White House has done is give parents and local officials the cover and the policy backing to push back at the school board and in the state capitol. Title IX restored to sex, not identity. Federal pressure against medicalizing minors. DEI stripped from federal funding streams. Clearer guidance that schools cannot hide a child’s identity from parents.
That doesn’t win the local fights by itself. It gives the people willing to fight them better ground to stand on. The other side still controls a lot of districts, unions, and state education bureaucracies. They will keep using schools as the place to re-seed the ideas that just got pushed back at the federal level.
The federal wins create the opening. School boards and state legislatures are where it gets locked in or lost. That’s the fight.

Fighting gender insanity was statistically the biggest issue in 2024 for swing voters.

The Republican establishment neutered that movement.
It's time to revive its spirit, reclaim our founding principles, and put freedom back at the center of American politics.
Thank you for speaking up @DrJosefWD about this terrible law in my state. Only in the last year have I learned how rampant the push is on psych meds in America. I found out I have to pay for a service at my son's college that provides psychiatrists through telehealth that will prescribe meds at any whim. I can't opt out of that $85 annual charge.
No wonder it is an epidemic.
Illinois will now screen kids in grades 3 through 12 for mental health problems at school. Parents, I'd opt out.
Am I just a grumpy psychiatrist who hates asking kids if they're unhappy? No. Here's my problem.
Screening only helps if it funnels kids into a system that works. Ours doesn't.
You get 5 to 10 minutes with a family doctor. Maybe 15 with a psychiatrist. A questionnaire, a diagnosis, and a prescription. Nobody has time to learn about the child's relationships, their life, or their health.
And the drugs they end up on carry a boxed warning: they increase the risk of suicidal behavior in anyone under 25. Grades 3 through 12 is exactly that group. In the FDA's trials, kids on the drug were more likely to harm themselves than kids on placebo.
Many doctors simply don't tell parents this.
The screening is opt-out, so if you do nothing, your child is in.
Nobody will care more about your child's mental health than you. If your kid is genuinely struggling, take the time to find and vet a professional who will understand their whole life before reaching for a drug.

I find it completely shocking on the daily, tbqh, just how thoroughly brainwashed so many Americans are. I run into them in public almost everywhere I go. They dominate online. They believe preposterous and evil things, and they're almost unreachable.

After the recent election results, I suspect we’ll see the dialectical pendulum swing back toward the Left. When that happens, I hope our Christian conservative institutions won’t ride the wave leftward again in pursuit of cultural influence. We need the Bible to govern our convictions, even when faithfulness costs us a hearing.
I’m also concerned about the “Woke Right,” including actual Christian Nationalism. And I do mean actual Christian Nationalism, not the patriotism and love of country that some on the Left insist on labeling that way. We desperately need a renewed love for this nation. We also need discernment about the political theology being offered in Christianity’s name.
The devil is in the details, and muddying those details makes it harder to distinguish biblical faithfulness from ideological accommodation.
We can, and should, love the Lord Jesus Christ AND love this great nation. I believe America is the most blessed nation on earth. Loving her includes wanting her people and institutions to honor truth.
This is why I wrote Faith in the Crossfire. The underlying views of truth, human nature, authority, and revelation matter far more than many Christians realize. We need to understand those foundations if we’re going to recognize the Dialectic, including when it comes from people who claim to be on our side.
