👏 Congratulations to all of our referees who have achieved promotion at the end of the 2025/26 season.
These promotions are recognition of the hard work, commitment and performances shown throughout the campaign, and each official should be incredibly proud of their achievement.
A special congratulations to Peter Dingle on promotion to National Group Assistant Referee, and Tom Hales on promotion to level 2, alongside all those progressing through the refereeing pathway.
Thank you to every referee across Derbyshire for your contribution this season, and we wish all of our promoted officials the very best for the challenges ahead. ⚽🟨🟥

This is what grassroots refs deal with every weekend.
Not pro level — your local parks.
Abuse is killing the game faster than new refs can be trained.
Respect isn’t optional.
No ref, no game.

Great game to the start of the season. Assistant Referee on the UCL for Sandiacre v Pinchbeck.
A warm day, enjoyable and good feedback. Bonus to have a drink after with my brother @richmaz69 and nephews @WillMarriott6 and Oliver
Lando Norris will never be a world champion. He’s not got that “cutting edge” he can’t push or be that bit special to get the moves done
Thanks to @DerbysPolice for doing nothing. Car was damaged when parked, reported told them houses had CCTV. They close the crime stating I need to get the name of the offender and the cctv, they will then re look at it. No company or homeowner will give their cctv out! Useless

This is the terrifying reality of drink driving: a driver 3x over the limit going the wrong way on the A55😱
Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs isn’t just illegal—it’s deadly.
This festive season, make the right choice. Don’t risk your life—or someone else’s.

Keir Starmer is giving £4 million of our money to Italy to help stop illegal immigration INTO ITALY.
Everything, absolutely EVERYTHING he does is an utter piss take.
