It is very sad and unfortunate that out of 58 Members, a population of over 72% people can be represented by only one designated youth representative to the National Constitution Review Commission. This is absolutely the bare minimum the Parties can afford to appreciate the representation and participation of young people in critical political processes and key decision making bodies or institutions. As someone who’ve worked on the youth spaces for years, this is a slap on the faces of the young people and undermining their participation. To you young people, rights are never given but vigorously demanded. You aren’t leaders of tomorrow because that tomorrow is today, the permanent constitution making process MUST be your destiny. You must be very proactive at different levels. What happened is very unfortunate and must be corrected immediately. #SSOT

I understand there’s a government delegation in the UAE 🇦🇪 sourcing for a printing company to print electoral related materials. This is a big joke, electoral materials are purely printed by the National Election Commission including the sourcing too. So much worrying situation with the huge Executive interference with an independent process. #SSOT
