Perfect description of Republicans in Congress: Little bitches
Rep. Van Orden on recon bill: “The president of the United States didn't give us an assignment. We're not a bunch of little bitches around here, okay? I'm a member of Congress. I represent almost 800,000 Wisconsinnites.”

ICE just deported three children who are US citizens and denied their families access to their attorneys. One of the children has a rare form of cancer, and despite ICE being notified, the child was deported without their medication or access to their doctor. This is unlawful, inhumane, and a direct attack on the basic due process rights guaranteed to all people, citizens and non-citizens alike, under the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments. The Trump administration is disappearing families in the dead of night, and if we don’t stop them, it will only get worse. We must end this cruelty, speak out, rally and march and hold those responsible accountable. We must defend the rights enshrined in our Constitution.
Replying to @crampell

Tonight I am looking back with pride on the 17+ yrs of work it has taken to get congestion pricing implemented in NYC. So many people and orgs have been critical -- @RegionalPlan, @MTA, @nylcv among others -- but we owe so much to @MikeBloomberg and @DanDoctoroff.

Lost in a long day of door knocking together is the fact that my friend @MicahLasher officially becomes a State Assembly Member tonight. And on brand — he spent the day in PA fighting the good fight. Big congrats to him & his family!
