Twitter, meet Tilly!
Please don’t be fooled by her cuteness- she 💩 on the rug and 😢 all night!
It’s okay though because she’s named after the best football team in the world- @TheMatildas!
I have the privilege of an observer shift with @LDNairamb next week; to say I’m excited is an understatement! 🚁
Just the career motivation I needed right now- time to put my head down and refocus on my goals!

Me when I was a kid: my dream is to be a doctor
Me living the dream 20 years later:
Yesterday was my 3rd anniversary with London Ambulance; this year didn’t start how I wanted it to after I dislocated my knee.
Today is day 84 of recovery.
This time off has given me a new appreciation for my job and colleagues!
I cannot wait to get back out there! 🚑
It was an honour to say goodbye today. Thank you for the reminder that our green family (and emergency service family) is truly like no other.
Blues and twos all the way!
I’ve only waited YEARS for this day!
Happy #TheLastOfUs day everyone!
*excuse me while I get slightly obsessed*
Polishing your service boots in preparation for a colleagues funeral is a humbling experience. Life is too short, be grateful for the little things and always be kind.
Today my colleagues and I donated Christmas presents to the local paediatric ward for those who are in hospital during the festive period or unable to afford a gift.
Stay safe during the #AmbulanceStrikes today. Just remember it’s about far more than an increase in pay. We want safe working conditions for all our colleagues and better outcomes for our patients.

#Ambulance staff & #Paramedics are you feeling anxious about impending events? Here are some top tips to get you through.
A short thread.... 🧵

The UK ambulance system has fallen, with the entire NHS not far behind.
It’s not our fault, but we’re struggling to watch as our colleagues and community suffer.
The #ambulancestrike is about much more than pay, it’s about saving the service.

JUST IN: Saftey of #nonconveyance in paediatric patients. Adverse events were rare. Vital sign derangements and attendance by paramedics with higher prior exposure to non-transports were associated with poorer outcomes. @emandrew1 @Ziad_Nehme1 #OpenAccess dx.doi.org/10.1136/emermed-2…
Rest in peace mate, we’ll take it from here.
Thank you for always being so upbeat on station and setting an example to all of us that you can achieve anything with a positive attitude.
Forever and always part of the ambulance family! 💚
