I work in financial market regulation. I break down what AI changes in finance, geopolitics and tech. The US-China race feels like the nuclear arms race.

True. Underground houses would be fun, but probably even more expensive 😅 The real fix is building more homes, faster and cheaper. Will AI and prefab finally get us there?

Yeah we need to rethink how we build to avoid this scenario...underground houses?

Plenty of time then! By the time they're ready, Penny Wise will be on v5 😄

Yes. Wants vs needs first, then saving and budgeting. Your parents gave you a real head start. I'd love to hear how Penny Wise works with your kids if you try it 👍🏻

Thanks! Same here. Which lesson do you think your kids would need first?

Fair point on the protocol. But most people don't hold Bitcoin on the protocol, they hold it through apps and exchanges. That's where AI attacks will land. 😉

Exactly, and it could work the same way for jobs. When AI can do the task, the human part becomes what people pay extra for...

Yes, that's the real test. Next step is feedback from kids and teachers, and the v2 will build on it👍

Finance tried self-regulation once. It held until the money got too big. And even if redistribution comes, the wealth arrives at the top in years while redistribution takes decades of politics. Who carries people in between?

True. And that might be the twist: the more we can fake, the more the real thing becomes a luxury. Fresh air could end up as a premium product...

Yesterday Grok Bot built me an app. Today I had some fun with it: I described a scene, and it made this film. No camera, no crew, no editing. It might also be a glimpse of the future. With augmented reality, we could change our surroundings and even the weather we see in a split second. If any view is one click away, will we still travel to see the real thing?

In a digitalized economy is it possible?

Banks already pay billions for this. It's called KYC, and deepfakes make it harder every year. The real question is who should hold the proof: governments, banks or tech platforms?

Thanks. It's for kids, so no ads and no tracking was the first decision. The hardest lesson was compound interest, so the app shows it growing year by year.

An AI wrote a 1,147-page proof, and top physicists now have to check it. What happens when AI produces proofs faster than experts can check them? Oh wait...

Funny that the dial-up generation ended up building digital money. 😅
