Bullish signal
A brutal year for Bitcoin is just getting started. Give me three minutes to explain why you should dump it now. Outflows from ETFs are signal and will continue. We will test the 57k low again in the next 12 months. Why? Because there are far too many dynamic places to put your money that are creating MUCH more value. Why put your resources into a dead network that offers nothing beyond a store of value? What's the point of place the BTC be if Bitcoin's Ponzi-scheme nature has gone away!?! The viral nature of bitcoin was it's power... if you didn't own you were MOCKED! Now? Completely reasonable, heck, SMARTER, to ignore bitcoin and place other bets! No one is trying to convince people to buy Bitcoin anymore... the memes and NFTs are gone. No one is saying $ BTC can change the world, because it won't — and BECAUSE AI HAS! Just sell and shift from Bitcoin to Super Intelligence because one provides little to no value, and the other provides unlimited upside for humanity. This should be obvious to everyone right now. Bitcoin will never break its all-time high again.

The old hardware I’m buying today (T And X series thinkpads) were the expensive option when new. The expensive options today like the P series with AMD chips still have removable wifi cards. There’s still some runway yet and manufacturers like Framework fully modular.

Just buy a used laptop from facebook marketplace. Problem solved.
Hardware wallets are super low-tech devices running extremely simple firmware. The only ongoing demand users have of the manufacturer is not to leak their data to bad actors. That the bitcoin space has fumbled something so basic is deeply embarrassing. You are not serious people.

Bitcoin fixes this
Jamie Dimon to a country that pulled its gold out of New York: you have three armies within 400 miles, while gold in America is protected by two oceans and the US military “If we have the strongest military in the world and the strongest economy in the world, we will be the preeminent reserve currency. It is those two things.” “I was in a country somewhere in the Middle East, and also in Europe, and the people said, we took our gold out of the vaults in New York City and moved it to our country. You know what I said to him? I said, you have three armies within 400 miles who can come take your gold.” “That’s the real world. You’re not thinking clearly about safety. That gold is protected by the Atlantic, the Pacific, the United States military, the rule of law.” “But if we are not the preeminent military and economy, you will see our reserve status come down.”

Most people picture a Bitcoin payment like a bank transfer. Money leaves one account and lands in another. That's not what happens. Here's what actually happens, because once you understand the process, half the FUD surrounding Bitcoin disappears.

This is a crazy series of posts by this guy 😂
I fucked up and talked to the negotiator on the phone long enough for them to box me in. They have dogs so I'm probably done for.

Or…just implement the yeti 🫈 2.0 protocol and you don’t have to worry about any of this.
If you're still using your personal email and home address to buy #bitcoin related products, consider switching to a burner email and PO Box. Your personal information is too valuable to risk.

Wait, what? 😱 The real news is the hackers stole the key that Keystone uses to verify the authenticity of its wallets. That key is burned into the devices and can't be replaced. So all existing wallets keep it and Keystone has to detroy 19000 (!) devices in their inventory.

The best signing device is the one nobody has any record of. That has no persistent memory. That is stateless. Ephemeral. Like a ripple in the ocean.

Seems pretty notable that despite all of the pivots to AI from miners, hash rate for bitcoin is quietly almost back at record highs

“Ai doesn’t think it just predicts the next token” What is it that you think you’re doing? 😂
Chomsky was wrong. Researchers found your brain doesn’t store language the way every textbook since 1957 claims. For decades, the undisputed rule of linguistics, led by Noam Chomsky, was that human language is hierarchical. We were told our brains process language using complex "grammar trees." That we secretly build deep, abstract, mathematical rules in our heads before we speak. This new paper proves that is completely wrong. Researchers at Cornell University analyzed how people actually process and produce language in real time. They found sequences. Linear chunks. When we speak, we aren't calculating deep syntactic rules. We are just predicting the next most logical sequence of words based on the context of the words right before it. We string linear chunks together. If this sounds familiar, it should. This is exactly how Large Language Models like ChatGPT work. For years, critics have dismissed AI as "just a next-token predictor." They said it isn't truly intelligent because it doesn't understand deep grammatical hierarchies like humans do. But this paper suggests humans don't use those hierarchies either. We are just predicting the next chunk. Language isn't a rigid tree of mathematical rules. It's a linear stream of contextual predictions. We thought we were building AI to mimic the complexity of the human brain. It turns out, the human brain was just running a simpler algorithm all along.

ANNOUNCEMENT: SPAM EMAILS HAVE BEEN SENT THAT APPEAR TO HAVE COME FROM OFFICIAL FOUNDATION DOMAINS. We have traced this back to one or more compromised API keys on Cloudflare, and have already revoked all API keys. The malicious domain in the spam email has been taken down. Funds stored on Passport are safe and Passport hardware is not compromised. We are working nonstop to discover exactly what happened and will put out a report ASAP.

We got Microsoft Authenticator to hand over account tokens to a fake Teams app. The app needed zero Android permissions. It just claimed to be Teams, and Authenticator never checked who was actually asking. The result: full delegated access to mailbox, files, and calendar through Microsoft Graph. Full write-up by @ofekdavidlevin with code and PoC: enclave.ai/blog/authmask-we-…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Microsoft patched this (CVE-2026-80097) in Authenticator v6.2606.4246+. It requires a malicious app already on the device. No exploitation reported at advisory time. Update via Google Play. enclave.ai/blog/authmask-… msrc.microsoft.com/update-guide/v…

While it’s not ideal that mining pools have a centralized coordinator, it’s not that big of a problem. Secure self custody at scale is a much bigger problem.
Replying to @Shireh0dl
The mining pool is largely irrelevant. What matters is where the hashers are physically located. If that becomes concentrated in 1 or 2 jurisdictions then we have a problem.
