— As Leader of the Minority in the National Assembly, I am proud to have participated in a crucial exercise that gave birth to the Broad Based Government which in turn returned peace and stability to our beloved country. I am even more proud that the peace and stability we participated in returning to our land has enabled H.E. President William Ruto to convince two of the greatest football clubs in the world, Bayern Munich FC and Ajax Amsterdam in the new national stadium, Raila Odinga International Stadium at Talanta Sports City, named after our party's founder, Raila Odinga. There is evidence that constructive engagement has greater benefits for a nation than endless confrontation. There is also evidence that Kenya has space for men and women who put her first above selfish pursuits. Kenya continues to honour her great patriot Raila Odinga even as the President continues to make Kenya shine among nations. Thank you Mr President. Long Live Raila Odinga. Long live Kenya.

I'M now HOPEFUL that Raila Odinga International Stadium will host UEFA Champions League Finals before President Ruto leaves office in 2032. It's Possible.

The announcement by H.E. President William Ruto that Raila Odinga International Stadium will officially open on 5th January 2027, with a historic match between German giants Bayern Munich and Dutch side Ajax Amsterdam, is welcome news for Kenya and a proud moment for African football. The naming of this world-class facility in honour of the late Rt. Hon. BABA Raila Amolo Odinga is a great posthumous honour, recognising his place in Kenya's history and ensuring that his name remains part of the country's national story for generations to come. It is a lasting tribute to a statesman whose contribution to Kenya's political journey and public life will continue to be remembered. The prospect of watching two of Europe's celebrated football clubs compete on Kenyan soil is equally exciting. It demonstrates our country's ambition to position itself as a destination for major international sporting events, while opening opportunities for tourism, enterprise, employment and the growth of local sporting talent. I commend H.E. President William Ruto and all those involved in delivering this landmark facility. As we look forward to 5th January 2027, we celebrate both a new chapter for Kenyan sport and the enduring honour of having a national sporting landmark bear the name of the late Raila Amolo Odinga.

I am deeply pained by the tragedy of the collapsed 18-storey building in Kamkunji. This disaster is a stark reminder of the devastating human cost of regulatory failure and greed. While we demand full accountability, we deeply empathise with the families that have lost loved ones, and we commend the relentless work being done by the rescue teams from our different agencies on the ground. Moving forward, we must urgently address three critical issues. First, tenant verification: before moving into any building, tenants must verify that it has officially passed all safety and occupation compliance checks. No one should risk their life because corners were cut. Second, we must put an end to unscrupulous developers and contractors who compromise structural integrity for quick profits and take dangerous shortcuts. Third, the regulatory authorities charged with oversight must be held fully accountable for turning a blind eye to substandard construction. We demand a thorough investigation and strict legal action against all culpable parties. Lives must always come before profit.

Abbie Suena and @WanjuguGM are the weapons formed against the presidency of Edwin Sifuna. Presidential politics is about addition and multiplication. They are playing the politics of division and subtraction. @edwinsifuna, hawa watu watakufukuza marafiki wote!
There seems to be an uncomfortable pattern of sidelining and undermining Luo voices within Linda Mwananchi by individuals entrusted with leadership in the movement. I received an audio recording of a meeting in which deeply troubling and undermining remarks were made. Soon afterwards, I alongside others, had been removed from various official groups with zero explanation. We cannot champion inclusion in public while practicing the exact opposite internally. This tendency deserves honest scrutiny!

MY SPEECH AT UON WHILE MEETING THE UNIVERSITY MANAGEMENT AND STUDENT LEADERSHIP. Education plays a vital role in shaping our society. Lecturers train doctors, lawyers, engineers and even politicians, yet they remain among the least paid professionals. We recognise the importance of fair remuneration for our teachers and lecturers. We will continue pushing for better salaries and improved working conditions for those who dedicate their lives to educating others.

Now that you guys have numbers and the fame, why can't Sifuna resign and seek a fresh mandate from voters under his new political party as Raila Odinga did back in 1997. Baba raised no cowards. And him Sifuna being a Baba's student I expect him to do that exactly.

Baba taught us to love one another. He told us that UNITED WE STAND and DIVIDED WE FALL. And in this month, Mwezi wa Baba, we shall endeavor to demonstrate that UNITY is everything. The National Chairperson @gladyswanga today broke bread with party Women Leaders at a session that expressed the importance of working together for the betterment of our party. Indeed #TukoTayari

Kenya is a low trust society with an even worse value system. Nobody down here hates corruption, they are just bitter they aren’t involved. This will take a century to correct.
It’s not the colour of their skin; it’s the system that rewards innovation, ownership, and equity. Kenya needs to stop worshipping wealth and start building companies that create it

Btw do you why I am mad when I see wantam tweeps abusing us?,... is because these are the same people who used to abuse us Azimio supporters back in 2022 telling us Ruto was a better person and he will make a good president than Raila Odinga. But now they're here telling us Ruto is a bad person and we should come to a united Opposition and support Gachagua with his team to unseat the President. They also tell us that only a fool doesn't change his mind, well then let me tell them that it's good they've changed their mind and now they see Ruto as a bad person while also us who opposed him back then have also changed our mind and have seen Ruto is a good person. We can't be fools not to change our minds as you guys did. So don't abuse us, support your takataka candidate without involving us.

Baby Pendo , Kianjomoka and River Yala were killed , your boyfriend @Karanjakibicho was head of the ministry and Dr. Matiangi CS. You have no moral authority to lecture anyone on values
I see broadbased bloggers declaring, “I have lost all respect for Sifuna because he met Rigathi Gachagua.” Since when did you support Sifuna? You support William Ruto, under whose administration young Kenyans were abducted, maimed and killed, yet you want us to believe that Sifuna meeting Gachagua is what offends your conscience? When our young people were being brutalized, Gachagua who was the Deputy President held a press conference in Mombasa and publicly condemned what was happening. You cannot conveniently erase that while defending the administration under which those atrocities occurred. I keep saying that the bell rang in 2024. That is where we drew the line. Wasn’t it Ruto who pushed the Finance Bill, while Gachagua opposed it? Who defended the brutality unleashed on our young people, and who spoke out against it? Also, on the issue of Baba, does Gachagua even come close to Ruto in the attacks and insults directed at Baba, even as late as 2023, beyond the issue of kuweka mitego State House? Spare us the selective outrage. You cannot support Ruto, who continues to defy our Constitution, the very thing Baba stood for, you cannot continue to support Ruto, whose administration has overseen the killing, maiming and abduction of Kenyans, while acting as though meeting Gachagua is an unforgivable offence.
