Religious imagery, meanings and symbols in #TheJudgefromHell. There is also commentary based on Christian beliefs, which this world seems to be operating in. This is an ongoing list as the drama airs.

they film in a real castle and put their actresses in thousand dollar cotoure gowns and people who watch ai slop think it looks cheap 🙄🙄
This is why kdramas are getting eaten alive by cdramas cause wtf is this so ugly??? It looks super cheap like a short drama

And I'm okay with this when we see why. No father is going to tell his son that the women he married weren't going to be the mother figure he wanted for him. His current wife is lovely. #MakeMeTingle #MakeMeTingleEp10
One of the notable things from this ep was when Dal and his father were able to talk and clear things up🥹 #MakeMeTingle #MakeMeTingleEp10

If the subject matter is causing pause to watch #MakeMeTingle, please note that it's not used as a cheap punchline, nor is this drama about getting the conservative girl to give up her values. Everyone in this story wrestles with their belief system, and is honored for it.
no childhood connection trope, strangers to lovers, no white truck of doom, no amnesia plot, no one got terminally ill, no unnecessary angst, no chaebol shenanigans!! such a beautiful ending. we love you mmt🥹 #MakeMeTingle #MakeMeTingleEp10

When you've watched a kdrama romcom perfectly executed like #MakeMeTingle, you are going to be spoiled for romcoms going forward.
#MakeMeTingle Thoughts on the Finale TRULY 10/10. Can I please have every k-romcom writer take a look at this show and use this template, or at the very least use this as the gold standard for how romcoms should be written in this day and age? You don't need 16 or 20 stretched-out episodes to write an impactful drama that truly respects its characters and its audience. Just 10 solid, purposeful episodes where the leads and even the supporting characters COMMUNICATE; not in a superficial manner, but in a way that feels raw, honest, and deep. Touching on subjects that might feel taboo, yet handling them with zero judgment or bias. The ultimate takeaway is that real growth doesn't come from easy compromises; it comes from making choices that follow one's heart, and having the maturity to carry the consequences and responsibilities that come with them. I am all for Yeon Su getting a place of her own instead of conveniently moving in with Dal, because it signifies her true, hard-fought independence. Her personal growth trajectory evolved right alongside the development of their relationship, and that sends out all the right messages. I don't need them to rush into a wedding to treasure the start of this journey, because the mindful way they are both approaching it already sets the most wonderful foundation. One of my favorite moments is when Dal came to get them at the cemetery. Not only because Dal stepped up like her appa, but because it drives home the exact point that mum needed to trust Yeon Su. Hence, I love the reconciliation between mom and daughter, because mum finally understood that Yeon Su's declaration of independence wasn't an act of rebellion or abandoning her family... it was just her growing up. Now, it wasn't just Yeon Su's family matters that got beautifully resolved- we also had Dal's reconciliation with his dad. We finally came to understand that his dad marrying a few times wasn't out of carelessness or being a womanizer, but because he was searching for a missing piece to truly care for Dal. Recognizing this reframed everything, because this entire family trajectory was the silent root of Dal's fear of commitment. He just carried the heavy burden of not wanting to hurt another person the way he thought his dad did. Watching Dal go from being labeled a 'red flag' for his liberal views on s*x (tbh, no judgment on my part!) to turning into this absolute green forest of a man who just wants to nurture and treasure this person and relationship is poetry. Writer-nim truly knows what women want for sure. You know, I was both genuinely excited and nervous when Jae Yeong got cast here. I know Nam Ji Hyun always has a brilliant eye for scripts, but romcom is notoriously tricky to execute well when tropes and clichés have been recycled to death. Yet here, working with such an eyebrow-raising premise, the show managed to stay effortlessly fresh, funny, and deeply sweet. Jae Yeong couldn't have chosen a more rewarding role, especially when paired with an actress as grounded and wonderful as NJH. I am very grateful too that both writer and PD are women, and they did an excellent job. My greatest regret is simply that it's over, and I already know I'll be holding every other romcom that comes my way to this exact standard.

#Crash originally aired on Disney/Hulu, but now I see that #Crash2 will be airing on Viki (and they also picked up season 1 as well!)

In a year of good romcoms, #MakeMeTingle could be considered the best one, if not the best in recent years. It's smart & heartwarming w/o characters betraying their core values or becoming villains. The drama answered the questions w/raised, all in 10 eps. High rewatch value too.

Her casting is absolute perfection! She creates the perfect villianess with just enough poise, sass and a touch of humor. (I also like her sidekick son whose always lounging around by her side!) #TheRemarriedEmpress

ju jihoon was well-cast. I mean seriously who can wear those outfits & act like a monarch, a skank and an idiot all at once? I won't be addressing the looks issue bc the fact those words are even out in the cosmos is a bain of society. #TheRemarriedEmpress

It seems like the writer for #LoveinDisguise delayed the FL reveal for narration purposes, which I get. It likely doesn't make sense to do an earlier reveal, esp. w/the crime story-telling angle going alongside it. I am curious for the fallout when the actual reveal happens tho.
