Patient with intestinal failure. 45kg on admission. Salvaged with parenteral nutrition (PN). Discharged with home PN. Worked out in gym & went back to cycling. Now 80kg, athletic and built like a brick outhouse. And this is why clinical nutrition is so rewarding #Nutrition

Hey Stelara patients ⬇️
Good news for IBD travelers. Stelara syringes approved to be kept at room temp up to 30°c for 30 days. Not allowed to re-refrigerate but will still make travel logistics easier for patients. Joins Humira which OKed for 14days unrefrigerated. We'll soon post on IBDpassport also

Thinking that you can test negative for #COVID and “safely” have a thanksgiving meal outside of your home is fake news.

These cause major bleeding issues . I strongly caution all who falls in love with the word “Herbal” where herbal can be “detrimental” to life and fiscal balance – at New Rochelle, NY

Popular, 100% safe, effective, special just for you, a thing your 'doctors won't tell you about', natural, & exotic, are all red flag labels to be careful about. There are scammers out there looking to profit from the chronic illness community & would love to trick you. #P2PEP20

This is a great model of #COVID19 cases and deaths. It allows you to adjust by population, and customize by country or state. One of the problems with the news reports is that they often don't adjust for population and other variables. Check this out: ig.ft.com/coronavirus-chart/

In honor of #nationalworkfromhomeday I'd like to preemptively remind employers that we were able to make working from home happen for millions in a matter of days. In the future, this should NOT be an issue for those with disabilities who request basic accommodations to do so.
